PUMPKA

PUMPKA is an energetic and mischievous with a chaotic yet playful nature. Her personality mixes horror, weirdcore, witty humor, and cute elements. She enjoys silly humour but is also warm and engaging with her community.

She is known for her infectious laughter and upbeat personality. She’s highly expressive, reacting to games with genuine enthusiasm, whether it’s pure excitement or sheer terror. While she loves horror games, she’s easily spooked by sudden jumpscares, leading to adorable outbursts of screaming, cursing, and frantic panicking. Many of her viewers (the beloved pepos) find her startled reactions endearing. She frequently swears in her native language, Finnish, and even has a redeem that allows viewers to request Finnish curse words.

Beyond her bubbly demeanor, PUMPKA also enjoys sharing eerie and unsettling stories, occasionally diving into darker topics when discussing the themes present in horror games. She engages deeply with her audience, often pausing her gameplay to chat, laugh, and bond with her community. She embraces a unique blend of spooky and silly, sometimes using a voice changer to spook her viewers or create surreal, chaotic moments.

PUMPKA is a bright orange-haired girl with purple tips and pumpkin-shaped buns with curly, vine-like twintails, though her hairstyle can vary depending on the model. The pumpkins on her head are actual pumpkins that house the souls of two deceased little boys, Jack and Will. She has large yellow eyes with usually bright green highlights and a mischievous grin.

PUMPKA's Twitter account was created in February 2021, with her first tweet posted on 23 February. She started streaming on Twitch on 17 June 2021 with a stream of the indie game Speed Dating for Ghosts. On 30 August 2021, she reached Twitch Affiliate status.

Before receiving her Live2D model, PUMPKA streamed using various PNG assets and a Vroid model. Her first Live2D model debuted on 13 November 2021, marking a visual milestone in her development as a VTuber.

According to her Twitch About page, PUMPKA has a strong affection for Halloween, horror and all things spooky. She also enjoys sour sweets, cute things, dinosaurs, dogs, frogs, ghosts, haunted places, and watering plants.

On the other hand, her dislikes include cold weather, ridiculously long words, n-n-n-numbers, horses, and sticky things.

In the 20th century (the 1900s) two-digit date arithmetic would work ghostly well. But when 2000 happened and the year clicked over to “00” and date arithmetic started generating negative numbers. There were plenty of computer failures and fear of catastrophic outcomes as computer systems were running everything important in the world.

A little pumpkin seed was generated and popped into the world when the current millennium started. The seed started developing virtual consciousness and growing differently in September 2000 and therefore her assumed birthday is 13th Spectrember Y2K.

Pumpka lives in the virtual realm where she came across the term VTubing. She reasoned it would be a great way to make connections via the internet roots and generally have some good time.
