She is known for her career as singer and voice actress. In 2021, she joined the agency OWOZU as their fourth member, after Hetto, Hiru Doge, and Shubyuwu, but left it in 2024.

Background

Before debuting as a VTuber, Rakkun began her online career as a voice actress and singer, uploading multiple covers on her channel, collabing with other online creators, and participating in many independent VA projects. She joined Twitter in February 2010. Her YouTube channel was created in February 2013, and her Facebook fanpage on October 2014.

In early 2021, she announced her plans to become a VTuber. After trial streams and teasers, she set the official date of her debut on August 28. One day prior to her first stream as a VTuber, she posted a short trailer on her social media, and held her debut the next day on YouTube.

2021

On 1 October, Rakkun opened a new main YouTube channel named Rakun (RakunVT) which would be mainly used to upload short videos.

Joining OWOZU

On 11 October, she announced via twitter that she had joined the agency OWOZU. Soon after, OWOZU's official account posted the same news and welcomed Rakkun to their team.

On 27 October, she reached 10,000 subscribers on her main YouTube channel.

On 24 November, Rakkun opened a new YouTube channel named Rakkun R to upload reaction highlights from her Twitch streams.

On 17 December, she reached 20,000 followers on Twitch.

On 27 December, she went live to celebrate reaching 100,000 subscribers on her main YouTube channel.

2022

On 14 April, Rakkun published a trailer to announce her redebut, which would mark the start of a new "2nd season." The event took place on 23 April, during which she revealed her updated 2D model and premiered her new Spanish cover of Villian by Stella Jang. Over 7,000 viewers tunned in to watch her redebut which broke her peak viewership record.

On 13 May, Rakkun debuted her 3D model during a drinking stream on VRchat, during which fellow VTubers and members of her community joined in as guests.

Leaving OWOZU

On 29 January, following a huge series of controversies around OWOZU, Rakkun became suddenly independent again.

Controversy

On 4 May, Rakkun's former agency OWOZU won lawsuits engaged after them by former talents. Following this defeat in Justice, Rakkun became the center of an important series of critiques. She was accused of lies and manipulation by her former colleagues and several third parties. With these accusations, one of the reasons given to her behavior was an obsession to get OWOZU found guilty.

On 7 May, all videos and covers from all of Rakkun's channels (RakkunVT, Rakkun ch, Rakkun R) managed by OWOZU were unlisted. Shortly after, only her Villian cover on her past main channel (RakkunVT) was made public.

On that same day, Rakkun went live on Twitch in a stream entitled "Fin del show". During this stream, Rakkun was committed to: firstly clear her intentions to the public and prove her point on a lot of griefs she has against anybody accusing her at this point, and secondly show the lawsuits should have been in her favor by a legal loophole. She exposed on screen a full Google Drive folder where she stored everything she considered as evidence or key element, and ultimately made the link to this folder public in her chat by the end of the stream. This stream had consequences to damage Rakkun's reputation more than it ever was so far, for a number of grave faults attached to her actions and words. Former OWOZU talents and third parties evoked during this stream reacted by denouncing: leaking personal data (national identity number, phone number, photos of real face, and real name), exposing private life, more lies, recording conversations against the other party's will, and finally slander.

On 9 May, OWOZU, which still had access to some of Rakkun's assets, put her VTuber model in store to the price of ¥725. The file also includes two outfits Rakkun never used. Around this time

On 13 June, Rakkun announced via Twitter that her three channels were hacked. Some were temporarily banned for promoting crypto scams, including her oldest one (RakkunMP3).

* She forms part of a Webtoon project, called Nuestra Voz (Our Voice), along with ItsFandubTime. In 2020, their project reached the top 24 most favorited among 2,000 participant and was selected to become a Webtoon original. Nuestra Voz aired on 26 January, 2022.
* On November 12, 2022, public voting for the nominees of the 2nd edition of the ESLAND Awards was opened on Reddit. In December, it was revealed that Rakkun was selected as one of the eight nominees for the VTuber of the Year category. However, she did not make it to the final four.
* On January 7, 2023, Rakkun was nominated for the Female Streamer and VTuber of the Year categories for the Luminy Awards 2023. Public Voting was opened the following day. The ceremony was held on January 19, and she ultimately won both categories.
