Reo, being the son of two forest spirits and the eldest, was destined to be the heir of the village temple. However, he was tired of the responsibilities and the monotony of being a spirit. One night, he decided to escape, leaving his responsibilities behind, and ended up in a forest. This forest constantly changed paths, eventually leading him to a garden with coffee, where he learned to brew it. As he continued walking, he arrived at a village where he was welcomed and saved enough money to open his own café called "Kohikitsune," where he hosts weary travelers.
