After the world fell to the Ethereal Regime, an ancient power reawakened to restore balance and free all life from the destruction of the Regime. A leader of a Resistance group fighting to free the world, Rex and his friends discover this ancient power, the Guardian Gemstone. After it gives it's power to Rex, he becomes the first Guardian after centuries of dormancy.
