Snorei

Rei Snorei, was a sleepy American college student that traveled to Japan from America to study abroad. One day, Snorei went out to explore the Japanese country side. After a few hours a dark storm rolled in and Snorei thankfully stumbled upon an old coffee shop. Taking cover inside she was introduced to an older gentleman that offered her a soothing cup of hot coffee. After taking a few sips of the warm drink she fell to the floor unconscious. The man transformed into his true self - Raijin, Shinto trickster god of thunder, lighting and storms. He quickly sealed the girl into a shrine and bound an Inugami, wolf, to forever guard the girl. Hundreds of years passed by before an earthquake, from the legendary Namazu, shook the ground beneath the sacred shrine. The coffee cup, the object that Raijin bound the girl to, smashed onto the ground. Snorei was released from the shrine! The Inugami, Beans, appeared before the girl. Snorei looked into the golden eyes of her guardian and witnessed the replay of her death. Angry, she clenched her hands as she looked into a puddle below her. The once human dark-haired girl with green eyes was taken aback by the horned figure before her. Hair white as snow with ears sharp and long. Her eyes were golden and purple like a sunset. She now had sharp fangs and a tail. Rei was no longer a human, but a Oni girl that could traverse the yokai and human realms.
