Veil was a normal girl. She was pulling an all-nighter gaming and hanging out with her friends. So of course, snacks and sugary drinks were involved. I mean how else does one stay up ALL NIGHT? After a while, Veil's friends urged her to drink water or to at least slow down on her soda consumption.
"What's all the fuss about? I'm literally... fine. Don't worry about it!" Veil contested.
Moments later, she awoke in the underworld as the bat we know today. She died from what she calls "gamer death". Cola after cola, Monster drink after Monster drink, her heart couldn't handle it anymore.
Now she spends her days as the same N.E.E.T she was before, just in bat form. Still pounding sugary, caffeinated drinks one after the other.
Whether in the mortal world or underworld, everyone still questions if she's mentally okay.
