My OC's Lore
Originally a human who dreamed of becoming a protector, Mona became the Goddess of Light by infusing herself with an artifact she had discovered known as the Master Crystal, located in a cave on a planet she later called the Crystal Planet. After infusing herself with the Master Crystal, she harnessed the ancient power of the hard light crystals in that cave to rebirth rebirth herself into the Goddess of Light. A new light construct body was created and her human consciousness was transferred into this new body, along with all of her human functions. Her human body was destroyed in the process, but she had effectively become immortal as her human functions were basically optional.
With many years of meditation spent in the Home Realm, she is highly intelligent and sharp in her combat skills. She is the creator and caretaker of the starship Andromeda and the deity of "New Earth," a planet she terraformed to serve as a haven for the remnants of humanity. Though she possesses immense mystical and Hard Light powers, including dual-wielding light swords and traveling via black holes, she remains deeply connected to her human personality and her mission to defend others. With her combined power reserves from New Earth's shrines, Core of New Earth facility, and her Home Realm, she has the power to that of a star.
Mona has lived a combined lifespan of 100+ years.
She has a sister Goddess of Light named Faye, her twin daughters Luna and Stella, and her newest daughter Lyra. Like Mona they used to be humans except Lyra. They became Goddesses of Light similar to Mona thanks to their genetic family tree links to her, allowing Mona to rebirth them. Her mothers name was Aleena and played a critical secret role in guiding Mona to the Master crystal, even faking her own death in the process and later sacrificed herself to aid in the terraformation of New Earth.
It is unknown who Mona's past human husband was, only that he had passed prior to the start of her goddess life. After the end of the Delumin war. Aleena's final parting gift to Mona after the war was a genetic sample from her long gone husband. After Mona combined the genetics of the sample with her own, she was able to create Lyra, who underwent rapid cell evolution to become a young Goddess of Light. Lyra possesses partial memories from Mona'a past human husband, allowing Lyra to serve as a living reminder from Aleena that she wants Mona to live happily for eternity. rather being a widowed immortal who has already out-lived every promise she made as a mortal. The vows were never broken, they were completed.
