Yamatano Hebiko, also known as 八岐へびこ, was a Japanese VTuber who debuted on YouTube in March 2018 and later graduated. Her character drew on the concept of Yamata no Orochi, the legendary eight-headed, eight-tailed dragon, and she was illustrated by 八岐へびこ.

Trivia
- Hebiko tried a livesteam before building up a fanbase, so for the first ~30 minutes (cut from that video) she was alone and speaking to herself; later she got a few viewers and another ~40 minutes later a conversation began.
- The character seems to be a home-based, amateur effort: the seiyu, a young woman, draws her own art and records at a location with a noisy bird (named bunta) in the background. Occasionally an older woman is heard whose manner of speaking suggests that she is the voice actress' mother.
- From overheard conversations with the woman who appears to be Hebiko's mother, it appears that Hebiko is not only the name of the character but also the name or nickname of the seiyu/creator as well.
- Hebiko's family consists of her salaryman father (a large green snake that wears a necktie), her mother (a cheerful, normal woman) and herself.

Hiatus
After celebrating her first anniversary as a VTuber, Hebiko released a statement on her Twitter account in which she thanks her fans for the support and also she states that she will take a break from her Virtual YouTuber activities.
