Beri (aka Beribug or previously Ladybug_Beri) is an independent English language VTuber. She was a member of the Twitch group "Pest Control" before it was disbanded alongside NaiyoSpede, KikiCheesu, RikiNyanko, Renne_M, and Aurenthel. Beri is a member of the VShojo Lost Generation: The Monster Girls, officially the BEASTIEZ, along side PiaPiUFO, ToriOriane, and Kairyu Crocodile.

Personality
Beri is bubbly, sincere, and has a great sense of humor. She loves interacting with her audience and is incredibly good at keeping up with her chat. During her streams she often shares her thoughts on random topics, tells stories from her life, or makes jokes over her gameplay.
Joking around with her community is arguably her biggest draw. Her viewers love to make her laugh, especially with light-hearted teasing, which she's always a good sport about. She's great at keeping a fun and upbeat atmosphere that everyone can enjoy.
She plays a wide variety of games, with roguelikes, horror, and retro being some of her favorites.
Appearance
Ancestral Beri's design is based around ladybugs. This includes her red-black-white color scheme, as well as her antennae, black sclera, four arms, wings, and insectoid feet. Her outfit is a Korean hanbok with a green ladybug norigae dangling from the sash around her abdomen.
Unlike her Ancestral model, Beri's original model was almost completely humanoid. The only insect elements were her antennae, black tongue, and bottom fangs. However, her design and outfits were still very ladybug themed.
Beri's original outfit was a fashionable design with a red polka dotted crop top, a short black skirt, and a transparent polka dotted jacket. She also had a black and white choker with a strawberry pendant, as well as platform shoes and a leg band around her right thigh.
In her pajama outfit, Beri wore a red and black hoodie, spats, and slippers. The outfit also had various hairstyles (the "onion" hairstyle being a fan favorite) and a plushie of her fan mascot character, "bugbro."
Background
Beri's Twitch channel was created on 7 April 2021, and her YouTube channel was created on 25 April 2021.
On 16 July 2021, Beri held her debut stream, which was broadcast simultaneously on Twitch and YouTube.

On 22 July, Beri revealed that she had in fact signed with US-based agency VShojo more than six months prior. Following allegations of financial irregularities at the company and the resignation of nearly all of its talent, Beri also announced her departure from the agency. Beri continued to stream as an independent VTuber. A collaboration stream was subsequently announced including would-be genmates PiaPiUFO and Tori Oriane.
Events
- On 24 June 2022, Beri participated in VTuber Summer Slam, a charity fundraiser event for Gamer's Outreach. The stream went for 13 hours and had various donation incentives, like eating spicy noodles or live fanfiction writing. In total, the event raised $2,136.00.
- On 17 July 2022, Beri did a special roleplay stream to celebrate her 1 year stream anniversary. The roleplay began with the viewer eating Beri's home cooking, passing out, and waking up at a carnival. Beri then finds the unconscious viewer and hangs out with them while going to different carnival attractions. The custom backgrounds and chatbox take inspiration from visual novel games.
- On 15 February 2023, Beri did a special Valentine's Day roleplay stream which involved karaoke, a short "date," and "drug" induced amnesia.
- On 16 July 2023, Beri did her first ever 24-hour marathon stream in celebration of her 2 year stream anniversary. The stream included reading kudoboard messages from her viewers, a roleplay court case with her bugbros, debuting a new song cover, and playing various games.
- On 16 February 2024, Beri did a spinoff of The Dating Game as a special Valentine's Day stream. The contestants were Catbug, Guybug, and Sugarbug. Each character was controlled by a portion of the audience, with viewers answering questions for them by sending TTS messages.
- From 25 to 31 August 2024, Beri hosted season 1 of VTRP, her Grand Theft Auto V roleplay server. The server was sponsored by Brave Group US and featured over 140 VTubers, including numerous indie VTubers as well as talents from agencies like BlueJump EN, EIEN Project, Holostars, Lucid Multimedia, OshiLink, Production Kawaii, Project Verses, Requiem, Ricorie Productions, Specialite EN, V-Dere, V4Mirai, and V&U.
- On 16 October 2025, Beri performed as a preshow guest at the Club Ironmouse concert.
Family
- Beri's family is affectionately referred to as "bugmom," "bugdad," "bugsis," etc.
- Bugmom is known for her drive-by feedings of meat and fruit during random intervals of stream (and is said to be very pretty).
- Bugdad is a known musical theater enjoyer (especially Cats the musical).
- Bugsis is Beris' older sister who's many stories endear her to the community.
- Baby boy or Jacques (Jock?) is the more vocal of her families dogs. He's a mini schnauzer who's usually bullied by Beri, and bugsis' dog La Diabla.
- Beri's other dog is a golden retriever nicknamed "Gir" (Grr) because her parents would call her good girl.
- La Diabla is Bugsis's dog and she keeps Beri up all night when she visits and barking in the background of stream whenever she gets the chance.
