Hipopo has gray hair with red highlights. Her eyes have red irises. As a hippo girl, she also has round hippo ears of the same color as her hair.
For her original design, she had short gray hair with a longer lock on the left side of her head, a pink hippo cap with a white ribbon and a mainly pink dress with flower patterns and an orange outer skirt layer.

On 5 February, Hipopo made her VTuber debut on YouTube.
On 9 February, she uploaded her self-introduction video, a cover of Umitsuki Shell's VTuber self-introduction song.
On 10 September, her YouTube channel reached 5,000 subscribers.
2023
On 5 February, Hipopo celebrated her 1st Anniversary on YouTube. She showed the silhouettes of her upcoming 2.0 model.
On 26 May, she debuted her new 2.0 model on YouTube. The design is a short pink dress beneath an a white and pink jacket, paired with sakura-colored thigh high socks and white shoes.
