Once an unknown soldier, his unit was utterly defeated, and he became a prisoner of war. He was taken by experimenters to a hidden underground facility, where his body and mind were gradually twisted into the “perfect weapon” they desired, Designation NTA-ZAO.

Within that cold, lifeless laboratory, he was injected with the genes of a black king... snake. His body began to undergo drastic changes, his eyes glowing with a sharp sapphire-blue light in the dark, his muscles strengthened, his bones reinforced, and his reflexes accelerated to several times those of an ordinary human. He was transformed into a being with superior senses and lethal hunting abilities. But the price was constant agony from cellular rejection.

Inside the facility, he was assigned countless missions—each one brutal and deadly. Though his body had been overtaken by genetic modification, once the missions were completed, he was left to face endless loneliness in the darkness.

Until one day, the facility was attacked by enemy forces. Seizing the opportunity, he escaped, reclaiming his lost freedom and the fragments of humanity that had been taken from him.

Now, in the dimly lit streets and the shadows between towering buildings, the name “Prison Serpent” spreads through every corner. This organization, led by ZAO, carries an air of mystery and quiet depth behind its gaze, commanding both fear and respect. Yet it follows one unshakable principle: never to bully the weak—and even to help those who have no one to rely on.
