Apollo originally came from a world of bipedal bug people, born from their hopes, dreams and ambitions. He was made the champion or deity of the sun, working to move and care for it. He would sing to it if it was sad, kept it from the cold of space, and fed it when it hungered. The champions of his home weren't treated any different from anyone else, so Apollo lived simply, within his comfortable hole underground.
One day, the sun grew cold and the bright light from it died, and with it, the people's faith, Apollo had given his reasoning on why the sun had died, and the people understood, in the beginning at least. Months passed and the people began to blame him, to hate him for not caring properly for the sun. The other champions in his world fled, leaving the planet for dead. Plague soon filled the world and Apollo hid himself away in his shame and hurt, where those above could not get him and he slept, for a long time.
Within his slumber a soft melody called to him, and the vision of the universe and a soft watery planet sat, waiting. Apollo awoken not long after that melody called to him. When Apollo resurfaced, he saw the place he called home dead and gone, above it all sat the dead star. The darkness glaring above him as another reminder of what was, and what no longer is.
Apollo attempted to see if the sun would come back to life, but felt no heartbeat, no warmth and just as Apollo was about to accept his fate and sit there until he too disappeared the melody called to him again, this time in reality. He saw that blue planet again and heard its wishes to live. Blue butterflies, the souls of those who passed, soon swarmed the dead sun. The cold words faded away as Apollo felt warmth again in his heart, and with it, he tied himself to the sun and began to make his way to the water planet.
As Apollo was speeding to the new planet the once dead sun flickered and roared back to life, pushing Apollo to his new goal. He soon makes it to the planet, he unlatched from the sun and as he fell from exhaustion, he saw the sun alive again just before diving into the water below, letting it take him into sleep.
He soon awakens under the care of a Nymph named Ophelia, and he soon regains his strength, finally seeing the world he helped being to life, Apollo questioned if he was deserving of seeing this world, but decided that he did and he's been here ever since.
