Nene is a shy soul and sometimes expect too much out of herself. She is a variety streamer, ranging from serenading chat with her voice, to cozy art sessions, or playing or watching scary games and content.

• Her fans are called Wispers, but in the Discord server they affectionately still call themselves Nene's Discord Kittens. The community has their own designs to represent themselves.
• Nene's mascot is a cute ghost cat, named Whiskit.

One day Bakenene was a simple cat going about her day, and pooping outside in public forests. When a deranged dog captured her and dragged Nene to her basement. Trapped Nene spent most of her days attempting to escape but each time was foiled until one day when the dog returned to the basement, she forgot to lock the door behind her. Nene seeing her one chance for freedom sprung at the chance.

Running as fast as she could as she fled the now chasing dog, as she finally felt her first taste of freedom in so long she ran out into the street before being struck down by a passing truck. Her anger and malice, Bakenene came back as a Bakeneko to haunt the dog in her basement, taking up residence in an abandoned litterbox, in the corner of the basement. Now playing pranks and tricks on the dog.
