Chat Rules Extended
1) English Only.
Why is this a rule? Well, simply put it helps to prevent confusion. On a deeper note I find it rather rude to speak another language in chat (even if I know it) because it's purposefully excluding everyone else.
2) Be Respectful, No Hate
Honestly, I shouldn't need to really explain this one, but yes. Just be respectful, if you say something as a joke and someone gets offended apologise and move on. Similarly if someone offended you don't lash out at them, we don't need hate in chat. Express that you were offended and move on. We're all adults, so let's act like ones.
3) No Self Promotion
Honestly, I wouldn't be too upset about it if it weren't rampant. But I can't tell you how many times I've had people act all nice and then ask me if I want to see their art or models or assets for me to reply no and their behaviour hits a 180. Regardless of the behaviour, it's generally pretty rude to promote yourself on someone else's platform. Especially when you also want me to pay you, that's kinda backwards.
Let this be known that if I want art or a model or assets done up, I will seek that out personally with individuals I trust.
4) No Rapid/Flashing gifs/emotes.
To be honest, I've started using Adblocker for some noticeable offenders because I have a photosensitive eye, which depending on the severity can cause anything from mild twitching, headaches, migraines and even nausea, and personally I don't want to test to see if they'll give me seizures. Given that people could have the same problem, please don't use them here.
5) Be Mindful About Jokes
For some people, things aren't jokes, if it's something you wouldn't normally say in public (Or be rebuked if you did) put some consideration into what you're about to say. Following rule 2, if someone says it's not funny, then it's simply not funny. Please don't try to defend your take, it never ends well. If I say a joke that unintentionally offends someone and then try to defend it, all it does is come across as "You shouldn't be offended, it's your fault, not mine".
6) 18+ Only
Probably the most obvious rule on here, given how many times it's on the channel. If at any point you admit that you're under 18 you will be banned, and if we assume you to be underage we do hold the right to ban you. Underage users will not be tolerated. While there is not a focus, this channel does delve into sexual themes that I am personally not comfortable sharing with underage viewers.
