Cyan Nyan

Cyan Nyan has multiple Live2D models with similar core features. She appears as a young cat-girl with black hair accented by blue streaks, usually styled in twin tails with a small ahoge. Some versions also feature long hair reaching past her waist. Her eyes are light blue with the numbers “01” on the irises, and she has a cyan star mark on her left cheek.

In her original model, Cyan wore cat-ear headphones with small wings, which hid her cat ears. In later models, her cat ears are visible and the headphones can be removed. She also has human ears, and according to Cyan both sets of ears function normally.

Her original outfit consists of a white sailor-style dress with a dark coat fading into bluish-purple, decorated with hackathon pins representing C++, GitHub, TensorFlow, and Python. Later outfits adopt a more modern hacker aesthetic, including short jackets, sport-inspired tops, and futuristic accessories with holographic blue designs.

Cyan Nyan is known for her energetic, mischievous personality and great sense of humor. Her streams often mix technology, chaotic humor, and personal anecdotes, and she frequently entertains her audience by sharing fun observations, unexpected thoughts, or playful teasing with her chat and collaborators.

Over time she became significantly more confident, especially as her audience grew and she began collaborating with other creators. Her storytelling style gradually became one of her defining traits, as she enjoys recounting events from her daily life in exaggerated or comedic ways.

Cyan often describes herself as a “hacker cat,” and this identity is reflected in her curiosity and tendency to experiment with new things. Cyan's YouTube and Twitch accounts were created on 20 September 2020. Her Twitter account was created in the same month.

On 24 September 2020, she made her first Twitch stream, a coding streaming learning React.js.

• Cyan is from the planet Nyanstar. She's a genius (baka) hacker shoujo.
• The tattoo on her chest is actually a portal to her home planet: Nyanstar.
• On Nyanstar she looked almost exactly like Earth's cats. She transformed into catgirl some time after arriving on Earth.
• Cyan Nyan, similar to other transformed animal-eared girls has also human ears. All of her ears are functional.
• Cyan has a tail ending with purple rubber-like ball. That ball can transform into any type of connector, letting her to connect with electronic devices.

• Once upon a time, in a faraway Universe there was a planet called Nyanstar. This was a special planet where cats would play before they journeyed to Earth and where they would return to after their time on Earth had ended. The cats on Nyanstar spend their days running, chasing each other’s tails, fishing, singing and dancing. At night they would return to their homes and use a long telescope to gaze at the Earth, where they would go on a journey with human to experience life. One day Cyan, a little cat, decided that she was ready to embark on her journey to Earth. She said goodbye to her friends on Nyanstar, packed her favorite toys and took a deep breath before leaping into the Universe. Cyan had faith that she would safely arrive on Earth and she did.
• When Cyan opened her eyes, she was filled with excitement at all the new things around her. Suddenly a huge hand picked her up from the middle of the road and Cyan knew that she had met her human. Cyan was taken in a little red car to grocery shop to pick up some cat supplies before arriving at a beautiful house. As soon as they arrived Cyan’s human prepared food and water for her. Cyan was delighted with the delicious food and decided that her human was the best human ever.
• She spent a lot of time snuggling with her human and enjoying the company of fancy treats and lots of playtime. But what Cyan enjoyed the most was sitting on her human’s lap and watching him play in front of multiple monitors. The human told Cyan that he was a hacker and spent a lot of time on the computer. Cyan loved to play with the keyboard and mouse and wanted to be a part of it all. One day the human noticed something very unique about Cyan. She had a purple tail with a round ball at the end and human wondered what it was. From his hacker’s instinct he plugs Cyan’s tail right into the computer and it just fits perfectly. Cyan’s interface was connected to the computer and various commands start to shine through her eyes. Something big was happening and hacker was starting to hack Cyan. Before she knew it, Cyan has transformed into something even more amazing than ever she thought possible.

• She likes cats, code, summer (can stay at home under the comfort of the AC and eating watermelon), and pink..
• She hates horror games. (She screams louder than a certain war criminal from Pekoland.)
• Her hobbies are drawing, playing guitar, rhythm games, Minecraft, singing, and watching YouTube.
• Her favorite anime is "Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica". She watches it every year.
• Her favorite streamer is Akatsuki Yume.

• Her character design is inspired by Black★Rock Shooter and Ene from Kagerou Project.
• She has two cats and one of them is called Cookie.
• Her stream content includes coding, gaming, drawing, singing, and cyanrolling her fans.
• Her first model has non-removable headphones with cat ears. During second model reveal it was revealed that she always had cat ears behind those, just not visible from the front.
• Cyan called her new long haired self a seiso version, and her short haired a yabai one. She also commented how long hair made her look mature.
• She is able to get Full Combo on Project DIVA hard stages.
• She wants to try Muse Dash one day.
• She wasn't happy with quality of her old streams where she was speaking more Chinese so she made all the videos private.
• During "Linux From Scratch" streams, she deleted all her progress twice.
