"My name is Edenia, the last survivor of the Euclase Family.
My family could manipulate and control crystals. What goes into the crystal does not crumble, so that you can preserve it forever. If something is important to you, or it's important to someone you care about. The memory linked to the thing is held.
The memories preserved must be kept in the garden of Euclase Castle and never removed from it. The danger of becoming too absorbed in the past memories is that one can lose sight of the future. They only had to abide by that single rule. Never bring back a memory from the garden.
Dragons are often born with innate elemental abilities. I was born with the gift of frost. I can freeze anything. I can freeze creatures, so they don't age. My family tried to keep this discovery a secret.
However, the information was discovered and all caused a big fuss. Some feared my power, and others wanted it. The situation became more and more dangerous and the castle was attacked and destroyed. The people burned the garden and they destroyed all the crystals.
It was cruel. I never saw them again. I was terrified. They tried to hurt me, hurting my face and ripped off my wings. I was so in pain and fear. I froze them all and I fled. From that day on. I decided to wear this mask. So that my breath would not cause me to freeeze people by mistake.
I still fulfill my family's duty to preserve and protect memories. That way, I won't forget my precious past and can still help others. Being too obsessed with memories is not good, but without memories, the present moments lose their value.
