Essie was previously a normal girl living a normal life. Unfortunately, due to an accident she sadly passed away. Luckily her bond with her sheep plushie was strong, causing her soul to become attached to it and be reborn as the sleepy sheep we know today!

2022

On 1 October, Pumpkin Essie was born.

On 14 October, she uploaded her self-introduction video, which is a cover of Umitsuki Shell's "VTuber Q&A Self Introduction" song.

2023

On 4 August, Essie celebrated her 1st anniversary. She did a 24 hour streamathon with several mini events, such as opening a Minecraft server.

2024

On 11 April, Essie slowly started dual streaming to YouTube.

On 20 July, Essie celebrated her 2nd anniversary with a 12 hour stream and her first merch drop.

On 1 September, Essie released her first ever cover, "Ghost in A Flower" by Yorushika.

2025

On 10 January, Essie debuted her 2.0 model.

On 30 July, Essie debuted her 3D model with full body tracking. She also showed off a 3D Baachi model and a low poly model.

On 31 October, Essie revealed a new 3D model for Pumpkin Essie model.

On 28 November, Essie announced her first ever plushie fundraiser. The plushie reached enough pledges to be funded before the completion of the stream.

On 24 December, Essie debuted a new 3D outfit as an early Christmas celebration. She wears a long, red coat, black tights, a red beret, and red tabi shoes.

2026

On 17 January, Essie celebrated her birthday. She messed around with a handcam, played around in VRChat, read her recocard, and showed off her new merch collaboration with Kawa Entertainment. This merch consisted of her first dakimakura, which was a stretch goal from her 3rd anniversary stream.

From 22 February to 20 March, Essie took a semi-hiatus. She used this time to help with her mental health, as well as allocate more time to work on off-stream projects and skills. During this time, Essie streamed 3 times and uploaded a short cover of "I Shared a Kiss" by MikitoP featuring Hatsune Miku.

On 11 May, Essie created her ASMR channel.

On 24 June, Essie created her Instagram account.

From 6 July, Essie experienced a period of rapid growth as a result of the attention she received for the Essie World Cup Curse, increasing from 12.9k YouTube subscribers to 47.6k subscribers on 15 July.
