Originally a human and member of the heroes party, Garland sacrificed himself ina bid to stop humanity from destroying the cycle of death and rebirth he became a mechanically enhanced Skeleton Knight that is linked to the godly artifact called the Well of Souls, in a attempt to cut off humanity from the artifact he casted a large scale... teleportation spell and transported the ruins the well laid in into space and crash landing on the moon with all the lost technology from the age of gods with him.
The purpose of this act was to safeguard humanity from the dangers of soul based magic, a taboo magecraft that used the souls of the dead as fuel and corrupt the natural cycle of soul rebirth. Show more
