On 1 July, Kururi's Discord account was unexpectedly active again. She revealed that she was alive, and claimed to have been resurrected.
On 3 August, she posted a video to YouTube again. She posted again on 31 August. After this, she disappeared again for the rest of the year.
"While brief activity occurred in 2024, including Discord messages claiming resurrection and two YouTube videos, this is believed by some in the community to be the result of a hack or unauthorized access, as no further confirmation of her status has been provided. Her husband’s 2022 announcement remains the official confirmation of her passing."
