2023
Around September, Grimmi used her 2.0 Live2D model, which was illustrated by NobleBunnyRin, who drew it on stream between September and November 2022 and performed Live2D rigging for Grimmi in February 2023. However, Grimmi never held a formal debut for her 2.0 model, and therefore would continue to primarily use her original model for reasons described as "I am legitimately crazy."
On 11 November, she reached 20,000 followers on Twitch.
2024
On 5 February, Grimmi announced her retirement from VTubing, with her final stream scheduled for 3 March 2024. Grimmi described her reasons as starting a new job which would involve frequent traveling and long hours.
On 13 February, Grimmi made the surprise announcement that her VTuber retirement was canceled. Instead of graduating, she would instead re-debut with her 3.0 model. She would use her rarely-deployed 2.0 model in the meantime.
On 16 February, she appeared as a guest on episode 8 of The Sigbird Experience, playing the character of Lady Garbage.

Kitten-raising arc
- In March 2026, Grimmi began her kitten-raising arc, after she adopted cats previously owned by her late grandmother. They initially consisted of a male cat named Little Prince, two pregnant females (one of whom went missing), and five kittens. By May the number increased to 14 cats, including one she adopted while at the vet. * The kittens include: ** Heavenly Kitten, named after Heavenly Father. Originally named Oreo. Heavenly suffered from virus, but survived. ** The Throngler. Credited with saving all the kittens when it left the pile to get help, and caught the attention of people when he was attacked by the neighborhood chicken. ** Porcelain Tomato, named after Porcelain Maid. He gained "Tomato" due to his resemblance to his resemblance to a meme of a poor creature being struck by tomatoes. ** Mr Dr Xander Nose ** Eggz, a tabby cat. ** Mishy ** An additional cat acquired while Grimmi was at the vet.
