She has a goofy personality, frequently laughing and talking about topics in a lighthearted way.

However, when she gets confronted over things that she claims she doesn't like (feet); constantly fails simple tasks or dies repeatedly in games, or simply just experiences the bare minimum of inconveniences like needing to get the mail or make a phone call, she is quick to crash out and make very long-winded rants.

Many people think that she has a “bratty” or “tsundere” personality due to this.

Hanakyo has had several models over her vtubing career, in chronological order her main models are: * The candy demon: original model know for years. It depicts a demon dressed in a casual/rap-style fashion. * 3D streetwear model: primarily used in VRChat, and for streams with motion and hand tracking. * The chibi model: this is the model that was actively being used when Hanakyo was noticed by the swarm and brought into the Neuro-verse. * The celestial goddess-demon (current): the model that Hanakyo used for her redebut. It depict a princess-like demon that contrast with her previous incarnations. * Her current model has a toggle that turns her head into a giant foot with a face, that costs 67k channel points on twitch. * Hanakyo re-debuted on 21 November 2025 with a Twitch front page timeslot, to a peak of 2091 viewers. On 9 December 2025 (Hanakyo's Birthday) her community presented her with a surprise gift of a fan made model they designed and commissioned, in collaboration with some of her artist and rigger friends, combining elements from all her previous models into one with lots of easter eggs and references packed in.

Hanakyo's Twitch channel was created on 13 October 2020. Prior to becoming a VTuber, her earliest known Twitch streams took place in October 2020.

She officially began streaming as a VTuber on 4 January 2021. She made a "Sort of a Debut" stream on 12 February 2021.

From 30 April 2025, starting at 3,800 Twitch followers, she began a period of steep growth in Twitch follower count.

• Her fans are often depicted as small, one eyed winged demons called "the eye supply". This is a reference to one of Hana's original redeems, "Eyeball Licking ASMR" that featured a long slithering tongue on her model as she uncomfortably licked the viewers eyes clean.
• This eye supply in particular, often shown on stream, is functionally a chat mascot that Hanakyo has named "Bobo."

• Hanakyo's original lore focused on her life as candy space demon, but in her current incarnation, her lore revolves around her being a Goddess who is imprisoned by her duties, only to be liberated as a Shadow demon enters her life and the two unite.

• She likes to makes jokes about piss, poop, farts, backs, and cats.
• She extensively uses "brainrot" expressions like gyatt, skibidi, Ohio, gooner, rizzler, innit, etc.
• She likes to play chill games like Roblox and Minecraft, and has shown some skills in shooter games.
• She has shown a big interest in Funky Kong, giving extensive rants on how cool he is.
• She claims to deeply dislike feet, but her actions and chat's behavior speak loudly to the opposite.
• She is a big fan of Vedal and Neuro-sama, originally leading to her being noticed by the swarm and inducted into the "Backtubers." She pulled back from heavily focusing on the Neuro-react meta, citing the desire to want to do her own content.

• She often starts her streams by shouting her catch-phrase "YAHAHA! YAHAHA!" together with her chat.
