Hara Rae Sol

Hara Rae Sol, the protector of the Sun, Sky, and Pharaonic royal line, met her fate as predicted in Ancient Egyptian mythology and took up the magic of her fathers against Apophis, the serpent embodiment of chaos and devourer of the sun. With the support of her mortal and heavenly empire, as well as their belief behind her, she was able to once and for all cast down the eternal serpent and protect the ancient world from an future of eternal darkness.

The battle left her godly form exhausted and damaged to near destruction, forcing her into a deep slumber to recover. In the dark loneliness of space, she slept, while the empire she was supposed to protect came under siege from its greatest enemies. Without her protection it fell to its neighbors and remained dominated forever more.

2,000 years after her conflict, a handful of cult members surrounded by a lush oasis and the ruins of a long-forgotten god sacrificed captives, chanted ancient holy writes, and prayed to a long dead pantheon. After generations of refining their rituals, a particular sacrifice finally breached into the ether and Ra-Horakhty returned from her slumber, now returned in an earthly form.

The oasis and ancient tomb are long gone, sunk beneath the lone and level sands of the Sahara, but the god it once revered walks the earth once more, scouring the modern world for new worshipers to rebuild what she once failed to protect, both in this world, and the next.

A smug tomboy with bratty tendencies, she is always welcoming, jovial, and playful with an fake-egotistical side when talking about herself. Much like a tomboyish elder sister, she watches out for her worshippers and does her best to impart knowledge, advice, and a radioactively warm embrace. However, she is never afraid to lightly scold or tease them when the times arise.

Always ready to entertain and educate she focuses on her love of history, artifacts, and world cultures, spending a lot of time sharing stories and bits of knowledge with her worshipers. She enjoys flexing her knowledge about topics, but loves learning things from her worshipers even more.

Her time is best spent mummifying her worshipers and using them to practice new spells. She playfully threatens often, typically included with snark, flirting, teasing, crass jokes, and even the occasional pout when she doesn't get her way. Despite her stressing that mummifying worshippers was important, many in the cult argue whether its actually beneficial for their health.

Her pet is known as "Baenra", a falcon with a crown similar to Hara's around its neck. Meaning "Soul of Ra", it is in reality the end effect of a mummified worshiper. This bird being the manifestation of their individual personalities emerging from their mummified bodies.

Her personal interests also include mecha anime (especially Gundam and Zoids), Pokemon, trading card games, RPGs, cooking recipes, and internet culture.

Hara appears as a young woman, likely in her mid to late twenties. The most obvious traits about her is the golden crown on her head and the 6 large tail feathers that sprout from her lower back, just above her rear.

The crown signifies her divine kingship over upper and lower Egypt, which she won by defeating her Uncle Set by feeding him some suspicious lettuce. It is gold with runes inscribed on its face, as well as 3 diamond-shaped fire opals adorning the front.

Her 6 tail feathers are a grey-ish black with white tips and red markings. They are decorated with a gold band clasped to the middle as well as a gold tip and ring at each feather's end. They can spread and fold depending on her mood.

Hara's hair runs down to the small of her back in a natural way, the color slowly shifting to a dark orange as it nears it's full length. Her bangs are in a capital "M" shape, with the middle being the thickest. The sides are formed into two gold-crossed and capped braids. It notably has an ahoge that blinks in sync with her.

Her outfit is a skin-tight collared leotard, covered in gold markings. It sits underneath an array of thick gold necklaces, more fire opals, and two falcon-headed pauldrons. Her right arm is wrapped in bandages with a small black tie-on bracelet, while her left has an ornate detached sleeve with a brick-like pattern. Her left leg is the same as the left arm, while the right leg has a black see-though legging with a similar brick-like pattern. It also has a belt over the leotard's waist that is patterned with black and grey triangles, two loops with a handle on each, and an ankh belt buckle.

Her feet have black shin-high socks which are cuffed and decorated with gold. They have a solid heel, but are cut off just before the toes.

She has two key items, a staff and a spell book. The staff looks much like a crook or scythe, with a falcon head opposite of the hook. The spell book is black and has gold hieroglyphs depicting her and her symbols.
