Jade has worked in the games industry and as an actor, tendsing to add some industry knowledge of both into their streams.

Jade is a kobold, known for being fairly short. They have a skinny body shape albeit with thicker legs and tail. They possess blue skin with pink highlights. The skin itself is reportedly "soft to the touch like mochi."

Their eyes glimmer like honey amber and are highlighted by black eyelashes. Their mouth lacks teeth, and their horns are both soft and flexible. The recurring motif of 3 pink dots together has become an icon for the channel.

Jade's right arm has a long scar from the thumb that goes down to about the elbow. This is designed after an actual scar that their VA had acquired during their career as a stage combat actor.

Jade is neither masculine nor feminine, and their design highlights this, ignoring gender norms.

Their outfit is home-made from cloth and leather, possessing a medieval aesthetic. It includes a long-sleeved homespun shirt rolled up to the elbows, a leather vest, leg wrappings, and shorts crafted to accommodate their large tail.

Several belts on the outfit hold flasks of unknown potions. Beware of exploding kobolds!

The generic name of "Friends" or "Comfy Cave Friends!" is generally accepted for fans. This goes with the catchphrase "Hello Friends!" that opens most streams.

• Once known as the "Crewbolds", this moniker has almost entirely been dropped after the first year of streaming in favor of the above.

Jade's fans tend to be both smarter and kinder than many similar sized communities on average. This is due to the streamer placing additional focus on:

The community discord is active and LBGTQ+ friendly. It also has an active roleplay community taking place within the world of the Comfy Cave.

• Jade lives in the Comfy Cave, a medieval fantasy world created for the character.
• The cave itself is deep in a forest, and is home to both an indoor lake and hot spring.
• Being most comfy, the cave hosts a multitude of winding tunnels full of flats for friends.
• One time, lightning struck a rock that Jade was near, transforming it into a computer. This allowed them to make use of high speed internet for 'reasons'.
• A squirrel (that never comes up again) teaches Jade how to use the internet to talk to people and make new friends.

• The scar on their arm was created via a sword while working in a stage combat capacity.
• The Comfy Cave was designed by DragonLastDream with input from Jade.
• Jade is a bit older than many vtubers, though their age is steeped in mystery. They appear to be either an older millennial or younger Gen X.
• Jade's favorite rock is Bismuth, with shiny rainbow squares.
• The phrase "Aw, Beans" first appeared in May of 2022.
• The pink dots on their cheeks are designed to resemble the tympanic plates on iguanas
• Jade possesses no teeth, instead featuring a bone ridge along the jawline (much like what is found on many species of iguana).
• Jade's design is more based off of a marine iguana than a D&D style kobold.
• Despite their design, Jade is not considered a furry vtuber, rather they are a video game NPC vtuber.

Jade (they/them) takes a wholesome and genuine joy in the simple things of life. Finding a shiny rock or a particularly large spider brings an excitement that has never dulled over the years. Sometimes, you just need someone to remind you how wonderful you are. Because you deserve it.
