In a narrow alley in the south of the city, a small film camera shop stood. Everyone in the neighborhood knew that business there was abysmally poor, but the owner was surprisingly handsome. The ghosts roaming the shadows also knew that the the spiritual power there was so abundant that it was mouth-watering, but the owner was suffocatingly powerful.

Of course—how could the future king of the ghost clan, living in seclusion on a street corner, not have some distinguishing qualities? His single, ghostly eye, seemingly capable of luring a person into the abyss, allowed him to not only see through the boundary between the human and ghost realms but also to freely travel between them, absorbing both the forces of light and darkness. He was a once-in-a-millennium prodigy of the ghost world, destined to guide the destinies of both realms.

Yet, his own fate, like a dead leaf in a turbulent stream, remained elusive. Born from his mother's union with a human, he, a hybrid, had violated taboos. Hundreds of ghosts who covet the position of the heir to the Ghost King despise his background, but they also envy his natural talent, constantly wishing for his death. The current Ghost King fearing his threat, casted him into this strange human city, calling it training but it was actually exile...

But he was quite happy with this. He was very excited about the ingenious gadgets invented by humans, especially the film cameras that were no longer in fashion.

A wandering Ghost King hated by his clan, and a film camera abandoned by the times. He gently pressed the shutter, and the colorful world in the lens silently lit up his eyes.

On 6 May 2024, VirtuaReal announced their twenty-first generation of Virtual Livers, including Kima, in an article accompanied by their designs and profiles. He debuted 4 days later.

On 25 April 2025, Kima sung "无冕之王" (Uncrowned King), as Honkai: Star Rail character Dr. Ratio, for the game's 2025 birthday promotional event on bilibili.

On 11 May, Kima announced that he would graduate on the 24th of the same month.
