Personality

She was lively and friendly, but a little fussy about money. She claimed to be a "beckoning cat" (maneki-neko), not a regular cat, and saw bear and raccoon figurines as rivals. While beckoning, she said "hanjo, hanjo!" She had an affectionately bickering dynamic with her partner/producer Kokon.

Her partner, Kokon, was easy-going. He was carefree and careless with money. He's been alive for so long that he forgot his age. Producing VTubers (Miya in particular) was his hobby, along with visiting tourist spots in Japan (featured on the channel as HANJO spots) and cleaning his cloud. His mission was to "raise a full-grown beckoning cat" and "let it make the world thrive." His dream was to have Miya featured in Times Square.

Appearance

Miya has long black hair arranged into thick twintails with a starry sky pattern and slanted cut bangs. She has short, thick eyebrows and red makeup by the outer corners of her eyes. Her eyes have red irises.

Kokon has white fur and an oversized head with vaguely fox-like ears. He has red markings on his cheeks, forehead and red fur inside his ears, plus black fur on the tip of his fluffy tail.

Background

Her Twitter account was created in July 2018, while her YouTube channel was created on 17 July 2018.

Mascot and fans

  • Miya's mascot is Kokon (ココン), a white fox-like VTuber who shares the channel with her as her buddy/producer.
  • Her fans are called the "Hanjo Squad."

Relationships

Likes and dislikes

  • Her favorite Japanese food is karaage (fried chicken). Her recurring birthday stream tradition was a karaage birthday cake, a huge stack of karaage with birthday candles.

Miscellaneous

  • Kokon claimed he's met actor Matthew Perry.
  • Miya frequently used the (ฅ'ω'ฅ) kaomoji, which resembles a cat putting their paws up.
