* She has integrated the zodiac symbol of Cancer in her design, it can be noticed in her ear ring and ribbon, this appear to be a design motif in the early days of Re:AcT (then known as Kagayaki Stars) as other zodiac symbols were incorporated in other members such as Shishigami Leona with the sign of Leo and Tenbin Hakari with the sign of Libra.

"Nice to meet you! I'm Hanabasami Kyo, a Virtual Artist!" She is the songstress of Re:AcT who also writes original songs. Her goal is to make everyone smile with her songs. She can sing a variety of genres with her high singing ability and attractive low voice.
2018
On 18 September, she released her first cover, "Music Music" by toa.
2019
On 3 April, she released her first original song "Ao ni Tamerau" in a music video, with this video she also debuted her 3D model.
On 27 April, it was announced that Kyo would be releasing her first cover album, "Hasamiuta" (ハサミウタ), which was released on 10 May.
2020
On 19 January, she reached 100,000 subscribers.
On 10 February, she announced on her Twitter account the release of her new EP and a new 3D model.
On 11 February, during a stream she revealed her new 3D model based on a redesign, along with details of her new album which consist of two CDs, the first named Myosøtis and the other named "hasamiUta**," which released next day on 12 February.
On 31 March, she reached 200,000 subscribers.
On 18 April, in her stream commemorating her 200,000 subscriber milestone, she announced her second single, "Daisy." The single was first released on Re:AcT's BOOTH store on 2 May, and then became available on various streaming services on 5 May.
On 17 July, Kyo made a small announcement in a studio live about her third single, "Moment.", A teaser video about the single was uploaded on 27 June, and a trailer was uploaded on 29 June. The single was released on 30 June.

On 31 October, she announced on her Twitter account that get would get her second 2D costume as part of a new costume relay featuring her, Yumekawa Kanau, Mizugame Mia, and Shishigami Leona. The costume was revealed on 7 November.
On 28 November, the MV for Re:StarT was released onto the official Re:AcT channel.
On 1 December, Re:AcT announced that they had launched three music labels, ReAliz, kaleidscope, and sinkirow. In the announcement, it was seen that Kyo would be releasing her fifth single under the label kaleidscope, "Starry." The single was released on 2 December.
On 12 December, Kyo and Shishigami Leona's duet single, "Dent de lion," was announced. The single was released on 25 December.
2021
On 27 July, her first album, "Petrichor," was announced and released on Re:AcT's BOOTH store until 31 August. The album then became available on various streaming services on 1 September.
On 23 December, Re:AcT announced on Twitter that Kyo would be on temporary hiatus due to health issues, effective 1 January 2022.
2022
On 11 March, Re:AcT announced on Twitter that Kyo would be gradually resuming her activities, with intention of becoming fully active in early May.
