While discussing the request of the design from MollyMishy, Kumo stated on stream that "the koomers are a byproduct of the Thing in the basement, and these small haunting creatures heed the word of the Host. They are lost spirits and doomed sinners. They appear as small spider sprites, little flickers of spirits and they are plentiful."

- In her usernames, 「ごろごろ」"goro goro" is another onomatopoeia, this time Japanese, that means "rumbling."
