As the young proprietress of the Ryugu Palace, her duties involve overseeing and leading this mystical kingdom of the sea. With an interest in the human world, she seeks to enrich her own through interactions with humans via streaming. Her powers include, but are not limited to, communication with sea creatures and enhanced movement underwater.
After losing her birth parents in a tragic sea battle and being alone at sea in a lifeboat, she was taken in by sirens due to her shining aura of magical potential through song. She is a friendly, fun-loving honorary siren with an obsession for ramen, music, Hoyoverse games, and all things cute. She wears a special magical pendant to better channel and utilize her powers.
During a battle to protect her kingdom from vicious intruders, her pendant's aquamarine centerpiece, which was meant to suppress her overflowing power, was shattered, sending her into a violent rage that instantly destroyed the entire group of enemies. After discovering that they were responsible for her parents' fate, she felt a sense of fulfilled vengeance but continues to carry the burden of her loss of control to this day.
2024
On 27 April, Melody made her debut on AniLive. She would become the 15th member of Class Genesis to debut.
On 9 December, NEXAS announced that it would close on 31 January 2025 and let all of their members retain their IPs. Melody confirmed that she would become independent.
