Miso's personality is hectic but cheerful. She tends to be quite silly and playful. She laughs when she gets nervous.

She is a "fish dog", because dogs "suit[ her] personality", and she "really like[s] fish". She has brown hair, with bangs and a small ahoge. She has blue eyes, a small fang, brown dog ears, and a brown tail. In her model, she wears a small orange fish-shaped hairclip near her left eye, a white collared shirt with a blue tie ("because I like it"), beige shorts, and white-and-brown slippers. Over that, she wears a hoodie of the same shades of blue and white (with the same shade of beige on its inside), with a narutomaki tassel on her left and an orange fish tassel on her right.

Misoyan's Twitch account has a creation date of 12 June 2020, and both her YouTube and Twitter accounts have a creation date of 24 April 2024. However, she posted her first short video on TikTok on 28 March 2025, and premiered an English cover of the song "Igaku" by Haraguchi Sasuke on YouTube the same day. She followed that up on 1 April 2025 with a joke nightcore cover of "Everytime We Touch" by Cascada.

On 7 April 2025, she released a teaser on TikTok and YouTube for her upcoming cover of "Kyuu-kurarin" by Iyowa. She then started posting short videos most days on both TikTok and YouTube. She premiered the "Kyuu-kurarin" cover on YouTube on 11 April 2025.

In mid-April, she reached 100 subscribers on YouTube.

On 29 April 2025, she premiered "i am steve" on YouTube, in which she sings various A Minecraft Movie-related phrases to the tune of "Pure Imagination", following a recent trend. She reached 1,000 subscribers on YouTube around the same time. On 9 May 2025, she premiered a cover of Lagtrain by Inabakumori on YouTube, her second-most viewed video of all time at 16,000 views.

By 15 May 2025, she had reached 5,000 followers on TikTok. By 17 May 2025, that number had doubled to 10,000 followers. Not long after, she reached 2,000 subscribers on YouTube.

In two short videos released on 13 May 2025 and 17 May 2025 on both YouTube and TikTok, she mentioned her plans to debut at the end of that month, and to release a cover of "Any Angle" by Noa immediately before. On 23 May 2025, she formally announced her debut set for 31 May 2025.

She held a test stream on Twitch on 20 May 2025. She opened her Discord server, miso's fish tank, on 21 May 2025. On 24 May 2025, she reached 3,000 subscribers on YouTube.

On 31 May 2025, she premiered her cover of "Any Angle" by Noa, and then held her debut livestream on YouTube, where she introduced herself and sang karaoke to eight songs. During the stream, she mentioned her plans to release a full cover of "Bam Yang Gang" by Bibi sometime during June.
