Sana no Bakutan. Anniversary events

Since 2021, Sana organises a birthday event each year called "Sana no Bakutan." (さなのばくたん. ) at Cinecitta movie theatre which is located in La Cittadella shopping complex in Kawasaki City, . This event consists of song performances, talks and participating events, it's a way for her to interact directly with her fans.

2021

On 7 March, she held the "Sana no Bakutan. -A polite birthday party-" (さなのばくたん. -ていねいなお誕生日会-) event. Originally this event was meant to take place in 2020, but due to restrictions it was delayed for a year. Due to restrictions at the time, audience cheering wasn't an option and this led to fans expressing their opinions through the colour of their penlights. The theme song for the event was "Ebbi Nurse Day", and a CD titled "Natori Sana Music Collection" was released containing the theme song, "Amakami-sama" (アマカミサマ), as well as previously released songs.

To promote the event, Sana had released her "Sana walk" (さな歩き, Sana Aruki) video titled "Do you want to meet Natori Sana?" (名取さなに会いたいですか?) of her walking around in various near the theatre. She also collaborated with a local coffee shop, a Lawson print collaboration and a collaboration with Tower Records Kawasaki store for the release of the "Natori Sana Music Collection" CD.

2022

On 7 March, she held the "Sana no Bakutan. -Super Happy Show-" (さなのばくたん. -メチャ・ハッピー・ショー) event. The event was structured around a story of Sana being in a new costume, but the clothes that are no longer being worn have a mind of their own. During the event, there were multiple technical difficulties with the audio cutting out and Sana's movements not being tracked properly, so fans responded by waving their penlights in encouragement. After the event, she posted a tweet expressing her gratitude for the fans' patience.

To promote the event, Sana had brought back her Sana walk videos, posting various short videos of herself near the theatre. She also collaborated with , and a pop-up store was set up at Tokyo Character Street in Tokyo Station, selling merchandise both in person and online. Other collaborations include local restaurants in La Cittadella with collaboration menus and coasters drawn by her, plus an exhibition collaboration with the same coffee shop from the 2021 Sana no Bakutan event was also held. La Cittadella's popcorn specialty store "Hill Valley" also sold limited products. A collaboration with Tower Records Kawasaki store was also held for the release of "Natori Sana Music Collection Vol.2" as well as the Lawson Print Collaboration Campaign returning with exclusive prints.

Her second CD "Natori Sana Music Collection Vol.2" was also released at this time, this included the new songs "DajareCreation" produced by Yashikin who had also produced last year's theme song "Ebbi Nurse Day", "Mondai Nightripper" produced by and "Super Happy Show" with lyrics written by Sana herself.

2023

On 7 March, Natori held her "Sana no Bakutan. -Hello My Birthday-" (さなのばくたん. -ハロー・マイ・バースデイ-) event. The story was centered around an odd gift Natori received for her birthday by a "Mr. Search Everything in the Universe", she then goes on a mission to created the best birthday party but Mr. Search Everything in the Universe tells Natori that in order to do this she must first face herself, Natori is then send to parallel worlds and meets different Natoris, together with the audience she solves problems and is able to have a fun birthday party. Towards the end of the event, a version of Natori as a hospital patient appeared, this version of Natori has been hinted at in previous cryptic content and they both perform the new song "Yubikiri wo Tsutaete" together. During past Bakutan events the narration of the shows were done by some of Natori's Vtuber friends, but this time it was done by Irori, an original character created by Natori. The event was a reflecting of the past 5 years of activity.

In promotion for the event like for previous years Sana walk videos were brought back, she also collaborated with multiple restaurants in La Cilladella with a special themed menu and coasters drawn by Natori, as well as an exhibition at the same coffee shop as previous years. The Hill Valley collaboration campaign was also brought back as well as the Tower Records Kawasaki store collaboration campaign to promote the new CD. A new printing campaign was held at Seven-Eleven stores with 10 printable images from Sana walk videos for a limited amount of time.

For this event two new songs were performed, "Parallel SearchLight" produced by and "Yubikiri wo tsutaete" produced by bermei.inazawa. These were put into the "Natori Sana Collection Vol.3" CD, these songs were directly linked with the event as "Parallel SearchLight" refers to the parallel worlds Natori is transported to and "Yubikiri wo tsutaete" links to the relationship between Natori and her hospitalised patient self.

2024

On 7 March, Natori held her "Sana no Bakutan. -Invitation from the Kingdom-" (さなのばくたん. -王国からの招待状-) birthday event, the event like for past Bakutan events followed a storyline, following last years lore heavy story, this year was more light-hearted and simply fun. The story is about how a Natori was invited to a Natori from a different timeline's birthday party (idea introduced during Sana no Bakutan 2023), while enjoying the party an accident occurs to a Natori from a different timeline, to solve the mystery Natori wore a detective costume and set out to solve the case together with the audience.

This performance was the first time the audience were able to speak and cheer during the event due to COVID-19 regulations being lifted, this resulted in call and responses being able to be done for the first time which let Natori interact with the audience directly, Natori later expressed how special of a moment this was for her.

To promote this event, Natori like for past years brought back the Sana walk videos, as well as the usual collaboration with restaurants in La Cilladella for special menus and coasters drawn by Natori, as well as an exhibition at a Coffee shop, For the release of "Natori Sana Music Collection Vol.4" a collaboration with Tower Records Kawasaki store was brought back as well as a collaboration with Seven-Eleven print campaign which included prints from this years Sana walk videos.

Like for previous years two new songs were released for the event, this included "Devil's Proof" by Yamamoto (Arte Refact) and "Write once and say goodbye" (Ikkai kaite Sayounara / いっかい書いてさようなら) by Keiichi Hirokawa (MONACA). These songs were put in the "Natori Sana Music Collection Vol.4" CD.

2025

On 7 March, "Sana no Bakutan. -When I tried it I got reincarnated in another world-" (さなのばくたん. -をやろうと思ったら異世界に転生していた件について-) was held, this is a parody of the E-sekai trope, when Natori was going to celebrate her birthday like normal she got hit by a truck and died, she then got reincarnated in the "Sanachaane Kingdom" (サナチャーネ王国) instead of the "SanaChannel Kingdom" (さなちゃんねる王国), she is greeted by a God version of Irori, an original character created by Natori, Irori gives Natori pun powers and she then becomes a "Pun Summoner" (だじゃれ召喚士), when Natori used her newly acquired powers she caused an accident for the Kingdom, together with Devil Natori who had also been reincarnated she tried to solve the situation. During this event there were more scenes with Natori interacting with different versions of Natori, giving them their own distinctive personalities.

For this event too, usual promotion such as Sana walk videos were posted, as well as collaborations with restaurants in La Cilladella for special menus and coasters drawn by Natori, the Seven Eleven print campaign also returned, the popcorn store "HillValley" and restaurant "Shokuchoon" were also selling original collaboration products.

For this event two new songs were released, "Hitorigadari" (ヒトリガタリ) produced by Kanda John (from PENGUIN RESEARCH) and "Dajaraison D'être" produced by Yashikin.

2026

On 7 March, "Sana No Bakutan. -The Second Eye-" (さなのばくたん. -ザ・セカンド・アイ-) is set to happen.

Live Concerts

Natori held her first live concert in 2024, unlike the birthday events which are a mix between a play, concert and fan meeting the live concerts exclusively focus on the music, Natori performs her original songs alongside covers accompanied by a live band.

2024

On 19 September, Natori held her first live event "Sanatic Wave" (サナトリック・ウェーブ) at EX THEATER ROPPONGI, the live was announced at her birthday event 2024 "Sana no Bakutan" in March. event. Natori had mentioned prior wanting to pursue her music activities further, she had also been releasing covers on YouTube frequently. She released her first music video in 2 years for "Animal Maru" (アニマルま~る) in May, announcing the release of a new song every month for 3 months prior to the live starting from June with "Fantastic Evolution" (ファンタスティック・エボリューション) followed by "Ohitorisama" (オヒトリサマ) in July and "Footprints" (足跡) in August.

There was both a noon and night performance with two separate setlists with 16 songs making it a total of 25 songs performed. Additionally she also debuted two new songs "No Guest In The Theatro" (ノーゲスト、イン、ザ、テアトロ. ) and "Over The Sky" (ソラの果てまで, sora no hate made) at the live, "No Guest In The Theatro" was released on the 20th, the day after the live and "Over The Sky" was released a month after, extending the song releases from 3 months to 5 months, "Over The Sky" was also the first song since "Super Happy Show" to have lyrics written by Natori herself, the song was originally going to be titled "Sanatric Wave" after the name of the concert but was changed as Natori didn't want the concert to reflect the end of her music activities, wishing to have more concerts in the future.

After the concert a short after movie was posted to YouTube, there were also two live screenings held in Cinecitta movie theatre (same as Sana no Bakutan events) in May and August. A live recordings album of the live was put on streaming in November 2025.

2025

On 13 November, Natori held her 2nd live titled "DokuZenSha" (独ゼン者) at Zepp Haneda, the live was announced at the birthday event "Sana no Bakutan. 2025" in March. Prior to the event like for last year's "Sanatric Wave" live Natori released a new song every month for 3 months prior to the event, starting with "Evidence" (明証, meishou) in August, "Outsider" (アウトサイダー) in September and "Meet Yourself" (自分らしさに会いに行こう, jibun rashisa ni ai ni ikuou) in October. From November 8th to 10th, just before the concert, music videos for all three of these songs were released.

The setlists for the noon and night performances were significantly different, with 18 songs performed at each show and 27 songs total, the MC parts were reduced to leave time for more songs than the 1st live. During the live new songs "Engrenage" (アングルナージュ, French for 'gear') and "Words for someone" (誰かのための言葉, dare ka no tame no kotoba), Natori was the lyricists for "Words for someone" and the song was released the day after the live, "Engrenage" came out a month later in December, extending the song release schedule from 3 to 5 months like for the first live.

During the MC Natori mentioned that all songs released for the live had a conceptual link to the overall message of the live, with the theme song "Words for someone" expressing that "only you can accept your own life, not others" and that you should live for yourself, the performance for "Words for someone" was particularly impactful as the lyrics were shown on screen while Natori was singing with a plain black background. This was the first time such a strong message was carried throughout an event, the other being Sana no Bakutan 2023 which also had some themes of self acceptance.

Short snippets of the performances were posted on YouTube shorts after the live.
