Personality

Friendly, supportive, and welcoming, Elira is a well-rounded streamer who vibes well with everyone. Often seen as a big, lovable dork, she connects with her viewers over common interests such as shonen manga or anime and tends to be well-versed in "zoomer" culture, despite her canonical age. Though relatively laid-back compared to other EN Livers, Elira is fairly cheeky in her own right and will (lovingly) tease her viewers from time to time. Her singing is held in high regard by many Livers, including those from other branches.

She has medium length light blue hair past her shoulders with bangs covering her eyes and "wings" on the side of her head with light blue eyes and multiple cross shaped hair clips. She has white overalls over a white off shoulder sweater top with purple stripes on the sleeves.

Background

On 30 November 2020, NIJISANJI opened their first auditions for English-speaking countries, with the audition period lasting until 15 December. YouTube channels for NIJISANJI EN's first wave of Livers were created on 21 April 2021, and their Twitter accounts were created in May 2021.

On 12 May 2021, NIJISANJI's official English Twitter announced the upcoming debut of NIJISANJI EN's first wave, LazuLight, releasing a teaser with the new Livers' designs and voices. Their Twitter and YouTube accounts were also made public at this time.

Debut

LazuLight began their activities on 16 May 2021 as part of a special debut program on the NIJISANJI World channel hosted by Hana Macchia and Bonnivier Pranaja. Elira was the second of the group to debut. Her debut stream opened with her rendition of "God Knows..." and was especially memorable due to using the pun "dragon deez nuts." Afterwards, LazuLight appeared on the main channel, where each member received a piece of the moon from Staff-san. After the debut program, LazuLight released their first original song, Diamond City Lights. This song was composed by Mafumafu, and the lyrics were written by Nelson Babin-Coy and Hoshikawa Sara.

Mascots and fans

Elira's companion is named Pikl, who is one of the dragons she trains.
Her fanbase is referred to as "FamElira," a combination of "family" and "Elira."
The "weewas" serve as the mascot for FamElira and are portrayed as puffy clouds with short legs, floating hands, head wings and a plus-shaped pin similar to Elira's, and a long, thin tail. The name is a combination of "wee," as in small, and "Ewiwa," one of her nicknames.
The end of the tail, along with the color of the body and the plus-shaped pin, are customizable.
The hands are interchangeable between mitten-like paws and little wings.
Her membership is named "Membersheesh."

Elira is a dragon tamer, a dragon who trains other dragons, such as Pikl. She compares her role to human parents using toddler leashes in a shopping mall.
Her left eye, hidden under her bangs, has a diamond-shaped pupil similar to Pikl's.

Due to being one of the founding members of NIJISANJI EN, her relatively level-headed nature, her close bonds with fellow EN Livers, and strong rapport with other NIJISANJI branches, Elira is often regarded as the face of the EN branch. However, she dislikes being addressed as "daisenpai", as she feels it does a disservice to all of her hardworking senpais in other branches.
She has mentioned that her family members watch her streams, and they sometimes text her mid-stream with advice.
As a counter to the "F to pay respects" meme, Elira instead tells chat to say "E to believe."
She regularly browses TikTok, and is often associated with "zoomer" memes.
She is known for endurance streaming, and several of her most popular streams involved pressing a button for 8 hours.
Due to one of her eyes usually being hidden by her bangs, a running joke among fans is to claim that she only has one eye.

During a drunk Halloween collab with Finana, Elira brought up a fan's tweet asking if Diamond City Lights was a twerkable song. 2021

On 4 June, Elira reached 100,000 subscribers on YouTube. At the time, this made her the fastest NIJISANJI Liver to do so with a record of 18 days, which would later be broken a month later by Leos Vincent.

On 6 June, her YouTube channel was approved for monetization.

On 25 June, it was announced that Elira would be the vocalist for the English version of "Trial and Error", produced by banvox and the fourth song in NIJISANJI's 3rd anniversary music project, "PALETTE". The song was released on various streaming services on 16 July.

On 7 July, Elira held her first Twitch stream due to technical difficulties with YouTube, becoming the first NIJISANJI EN Liver to stream on Twitch. However, the archive was lost, as she forgot to activate the appropriate setting.

On 18 July, LazuLight's debut voice packs went on sale, with custom voice packs limited to the first 100 purchases.

On 26 August, she opened memberships on her YouTube channel.

On 24 September, she hosted a sponsored stream on her channel with the other members of LazuLight. This marked NIJISANJI EN's very first sponsored stream.

On 29 January, she revealed her second outfit; a cloud-themed kimono with a frilly skirt and a fur collar. In this outfit, she sports a bobbed haircut and a tiara. Later, new merchandise went up for sale to celebrate LazuLight's new outfits.

On 15 March, Elira's "White Day 2022" voice pack went up for sale.

On 24 March, Elira reached 300,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

On 22 April, Elira's "Sakura Bloom 2022" voice pack and goods went up for sale. Merchandise included acrylic keychains, file folders, and badges.

On 6 January, NIJISANJI EN's official Twitter announced that LazuLight would be holding their 3D reveal streams, with Elira holding her 3D reveal first on 13 January.

On 13 January, Elira held her 3D reveal stream, becoming the first overseas Liver to officially debut their 3D model.

On 8 April, Elira revealed her third outfit, consisting of a beige cardigan, a white long-sleeved blouse, round glasses, and a long plaid skirt. Due to sporting a high ponytail, her left eye was revealed for the first time. This model was based on her outfit from NIJISANJI Archives 2021-2022.

On 11 May, "LazuLight 2nd Anniversary" goods went up for sale. In addition to acrylic stands, snapshot cards, and hologram badges, merchandise included NIJI-NUI plushies, a music box, and in Elira's case, a "Weewa" cushion. "NIJISANJI EN 2nd Anniversary" goods also went up for sale, including a "#FamElira" rubber keychain, a LazuLight-colored sling bag, and an Elira-themed solid perfume scented with citrus, violet, and muguet.

On 15 October, during her birthday, Elira debuted her fourth outfit.

On 31 December, Elira reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.

2024

Following the controversy around Selen Tatsuki's termination, her YouTube channel lost over 10,000 subscribers over the span of 8 days. As of 11 February, it amounts to 597,000, nullifying previously achieved milestone.

On 12 February, after releasing a joint statement about the situation from Elira, Vox Akuma and Ike Eveland, her channel lost over 10,000 subscribers in less than 24 hours.

On 18 May, Elira revealed her 3.0 Brushup, adding new expressions to her model.

On 14 November, Elira and Enna Alouette released their original song, "SOLAR DAWN", as part of the NIJISANJI EN project: ENcounter.

2025

On 24 February, Elira debuted her 3D performance costume during NIJISANJI 7th anniversary live "OVERTURE" Daytime Stage.
