As a siren, Oceane was expected to follow the footsteps of her sisters. But after meeting a mermaid friend, Oceane knew she wanted to be one. She sought the help of an alchemist and asked to be transformed into a mermaid. But first, she has to prove her loyalty by becoming a kind human. With the scroll tucked in her necklace, she gained leg and eventually became a VTuber.
2022
On 5 September, Oceane's YouTube channel was terminated. The reason given was that she had "violated YouTube's policy against spam, deceptive practices, and misleading content or other Terms of Service violations."
On 6 September, her channel was restored.
On 18 September, she opened her channel membership feature.
On 4 October, she released her first official solo cover song, an acoustic version of the song "Mayonaka no Door" by Matsubara Miki.
On 7 October, Oceane along with her fellow 3rd generation members released their first collaboration cover song "THE BADDEST" by K/DA.

On 1 February, production kawaii's Twitter account announced that, Oceane Otoishi's contract was terminated, citing slander towards other talents and improper conduct outside of the agency. Her channel and merchandise would stay active until the end of the month. Sava, Aletta, Peony and Miryu all held a joint stream explaining the situation that same day.
