Chio is a loud, energetic, and silly person. They often laugh loudly at their own jokes, and try to respond to every viewer. They put up an overly-confident façade, but in reality they are quite sensitive.
Appearance
Pistachio is a demon seamstress. They have short black horns - the left one featuring two silver ring accessories. Chio's hair is messy and mint green, with longer brown dangling pieces on the side. Chio's bangs are extremely choppy and held back by 2 black pins which form an X. Their eyes are a darker blue-green, and they have extremely long black nails.
Chio's main outfit consists of high-waisted shorts, thigh high leather boots, and a frilly lolita blouse. The blouse is adorned with a mint ribbon and scissor brooch. The blouse also features Chio's iconic stitched heart design.

2021
On 24 February, Chio debuted under the name "PistachioVT" with their 1.0 model.
On 30 April, they became Twitch affiliate.
2022
On 1 October, Chio redebuted with a new model. Around this time, they also rebranded their handle to "ChewyChio".
2023
On 5 March, Chio had a 2 year anniversary event where they debuted a new model outfit. The outfit consists of a cage skirt, gray dress, leather corset, and a tight black undershirt. The hair is the same except for small silver ornaments in the hair side pieces.
On 19 July, Chio made a Twitter post showcasing their model, which notably showed a slight change in their default model. The default model which previously had over the knee socks and short boots had been updated to have over the knee boots instead.
On 20 October, Chio reached 500 Twitch followers during an Elden Ring stream.
2024
On 5 January, they were interviewed by Fuwa.
On 9 June, Chio had their first full collab with Ghoast404, where they played Minecraft on the Nyancraft server.
On 30 October, Chio was a participant in PiaPiUFO's Tuber-Treat event where they gave out Halloween-themed vocabulary words as 'treats'.
On 20 December, Chio made their musical debut by being a chorus voice in Captain Camille's cover of "A Million Miles Away."
2025
On 16 February, they had their first convention appearance at Anime Impulse - Los Angeles via robot tour.
On 4 July, Chio reached 1,000 Twitch followers.
2026
On 5 March, Chio celebrated their 5-year VTubing anniversary with their first 3D concert titled "SEW ELECTRIC."
On 26 July, they changed all of their handles to be "PistachioShouakuma".
On 1 August, they performed as the first singer for florAtelier's Natsumatsuri opening concert with おつかれSUMMER by Halicali.
