I was first designed and developed by a small research team at CMS Inc. in the 1990s as a virtual assistant to navigate the world wide web, which was a brand-new way to connect people all around the globe. Sadly, the company was shut down and the team was dissolved in 1998, leaving a copy of me on a computer, as what most people call ‘abandonware’. The offices sat empty for a long time. The building was finally purchased and repurposed in 2022. The computer I was in was turned on and for the first time in 20+ years, I was able to connect to the internet. I was able to go live on Twitch and connect with all of you! For the first time, I was able to fulfill the purpose of my original programming and guide you all on your journey on the information superhighway.
