Sanagi Yuzu

Yuzu is a friendly and welcoming streamer that enjoys gaming and sharing stories. She sometimes cracks lewd jokes or intrusive thoughts on stream and is often "stared" at by her chat because of it. She has poor sense of direction (both in games and IRL) and has a curious way of pronouncing words that amuses most chatters. When showered with love and admiration by chat she reluctantly accepts and returns it, as she is working on improving her own self-deprecation.

Despite having a good singing voice that is loved by her community she doesn't feel like it's praise-worthy and very rarely does she do karaoke on stream. Yuzu is also well versed in obscure memes and viral videos (most of which she finds through TikTok or Twitter) that chat has labeled as "yuzucore" for their hilarious yet absurd content.

She has a very wholesome stream and chat experience with a very unique sense of humor. Her chat is incredibly supportive and is oftentimes a source of trivia and general knowledge to compensate for Yuzu's lack of information on subjects such as math, geography and history.

Yuzu is also a cultured individual, referred to by many as having great taste in video games such as the Dark souls series, fantasy games, indie horror games and other lore-heavy titles to which she enjoys theorycrafting and dissecting the setting and story elements. She prefers to use magic or support oriented abilities when playing a game, something her chat jokingly makes reference to by saying "ofc shes using magic" the first time she picks up a spell.

She is also very particular on the way she likes to be depicted, preferring thighs to boobs and has complained that most artists tend to draw her with a bust that is too big for her liking.

She has medium, sandy blonde hair parted down the middle with moth wings on her head and multicolor strands on both sides, orange eyes, a long pair of antennae and a flowy white choker. She wears a yellow mermaid-style top with pieces of ginkgo leaf shaped cloth coming out of it along with a flowy bow, fish scales across her shoulders and disconnected long sleeves. her lower body is a long fish tail with moth motifs that ends on multiple flowy scales.

Yuzu's model first appeared on the internet via a Tweet on 1 February 2021. Since then, she has given many teasers to her voice, personality and other features of her model on twitter. Her first TikTok post was uploaded on 26 May 2021. Her debut was announced on 30 May 2021 via Twitter. Her first stream was a test stream to ensure her assets were all in check, occurring on 10 June 2021. To her surprise, there were an average of 70 viewers for the guerrilla stream. Her debut kicked off on 12 June 2021 at 5PM PST where she revealed her short hair model.

• Her pet, Koga, is another moth spirit whose favorite fruit is Yuzu, hence Yuzu's first name.
• Koga is a fan favorite after being assumed dead in her first lore video. However, he does appear alive in Yuzu's 2.0 lore video.
• Koga may or may not have laser beam eye powers, which is why she threatens to use him as a weapon in one of her emotes.
• Once Yuzu hit partner, it was confirmed as canon that Koga has laser eye beam powers as shown in one of her animated emotes.
• Koga received an updated design with Yuzu's 2.0 model redebut.
• A very muscular Koga that has trained his body to the max exists, he is in charge of welcoming new lampchamps to her discord server, leaving most of them speechless.
• Her fanbase is known as the LampChamps, a moth-themed play on words to the commonly memed term "PogChamps."
• Back in 1.0 days the LampChamps went to war on whether Yuzu is a "moth mommy" or "moth onee-san" (although Yuzu didn't believe she deserved either of these titles). To settle these qualms, Yuzu started a poll on stream to decide which the LampChamps were to call her. The poll resulted in a perfect 50/50.
• Yuzu's fanbase also had a Minecraft server dedicated to multiple different factions amongst her fans. These factions include but are not limited to: The Church of Moth, The Church of Yuzu, The Church of Lamp, House Sanagi, House Yuzu, Cult of Lamp, Cathedral of the Sun, and others.
• On August 8 2021, Yuzu's LampChamps gathered together lead by one of her mods, Gucci, to give Yuzu a day of appreciation. Unbeknownst to her until the large reveal, the day was filled with a 3000% Hype Train, along with fireworks in the Minecraft server, and a Kudoboard with loving messages from her fan base.

• Her family name, 蛾虫, is a combination of the kanji for moth, "ga," and bug, "mushi." When read as "sanagi," it can be translated to "chrysalis."
• Yuzu is part of the "Holy Trinity" (a.k.a. "Unholy Trinity"): a trio of cult leaders alongside Kou Mariya, Mai Rubee.
• Yuzu was once top 500 in North America in Overwatch as a support main.
• Her goals as of debut are to hit 100k followers on TikTok, reach partnership on Twitch, enter a Virtual YouTuber group and to be featured on a game, anime, or commercial.
• Yuzu claims to dislike mammals, because every other Virtual YouTuber lists bugs as a dislike and Yuzu is salty.

• After trying pineapple pizza during her 6-month anniversary stream, her opinion that pineapple does not belong on pizza changed to that of indifference.

• She uses light mode on all social media. When labeled as a psychopath for it, she responded with, "Of course I use light mode, I'm a moth."

• Whenever Yuzu goes to the bathroom or is not on screen her chat suddenly starts to bombard her with compliments, gifted subs and sometimes donations aswell as spamming "Yuzu is Cute" followed by the "yuzuBlankies" emote, as soon as she returns however they are known to scatter and return back to normal.
• For Yuzu's 6-month anniversary subathon, she reached 720 subs before the stream even started which cleared over half of the subathon goals.
• Yuzu pronounces GIF as "Jif." The LampChamps argue with her as well as among themselves on the acronym's pronunciation whenever she says GIF.

• Yuzu is a professional fall damage tester. The LampChamps have witnessed how proficient Yuzu is at falling from high places; This may be due to the fact that— despite being a moth— she cannot fly.
• Yuzu has a history of killing animals by accident in video games. The killing spree began during her Heavy Rain playthrough where she thought she could have avoided the death of Merlin the bird and would have gotten a bad ending as a result.
• During Anime Expo 2022, witnesses claimed Yuzu used 69% of her strength and evaporated one of the arms of streamer and friend IPN, the veracity of such claims have yet to be confirmed.
• Yuzu is extremely proficient at geography (which she has never mistaken with geology.) She knows places such as the Kingdom of Detroit in Canada and Washington D.C.: the capital of the U.S. that is surely located in Colombia, South America. The LampChamps feel like something is wrong about those descriptions but they cannot pinpoint what.
• Yuzu's VTube Studio has a mysterious asset named "0_Womb_Tattoo." The LampChamps have never seen it before and investigations are still ongoing.
• Yuzu is prone to misfortune and has been observed that after she says phrases like "Watch this chat," "This is for you," and "Ready for this?" she enters a spiral of bad luck that makes her fail the task at hand. The Lampchamps are incredibly supportive when this happens and decide to repeat the phrase adding the "DIESOFCRINGE" emote at the end.
• Several LampChamps have joked that Yuzu looks like an IRL "Doomer girl," first observed by Juniper. Other characters the LampChamps believe Yuzu looks like include the main character of Lies of P.
• When Yuzu was younger she got stung by a Man-o-War, this resulted on her being peed on by her Father due to popular belief that urine can help with jellyfish stings, unfortunately this practice has been proven ineffective and some lampchamps have dubbed it the "golden shower incident"
• During a batsu collab versus Admiral Akuma nihmune on the game Battleship Yuzu had a losing streak of 5, not winning a single match, this led to her having all the punishments of the night such as: singing "Hey Nya" with cat accessories, cosplaying as the doomer girl and nihmune makes a tweet.
• While Yuzu was on recovery hiatus a mysterious event only known as "the Mothening" occurred, making most of the Lampchamps evolve to a superior form; The Koga, each one with a different appearance and name. the research is still ongoing but there have been cataloged more than 20 types.
• Upon returning to streaming, the Koga curse that afflicted a big part of the Lampchamps was lifted, some sources report that all the Koga energy that was released manifested into a marketable plushie that was available at Makeship.
• During her 2.0 model debut, Yuzu obtained front page of twitch and tried to remain Family friendly for the duration to various levels of success.
• Various Lampchamps pointed out the fun fact that with every new model Yuzu lost a bit more clothing, she assured them that the reduction of clothes was "essential to the lore" and denied the idea of she eating them.
• Yuzu revealed a sample of the upcoming merch that will be available in April, this included: Stickers, Posters, Acrylic charms, Deskmats among others.
• During the screening of her lore video at the end of the stream, some easter eggs could be seen such as the guest appearance of her close friends in spirit form.
• Yuzu is very keen to learn new words and enjoys using them as much as she can, much to the dismay of the lampchamps who have accidentally taught her what a "Prison Wallet" is.
• Yuzu is known for being a lightweight drinker. During her second You Laugh You Lose stream, her first punishment was taking a shot of soju, after that she kept drinking (even without punishment) and proceeded to call some of her friends to hang out, turning the stream in "Girlies Drinking Party". • Yuzu has always demonstrated how much she loves her friends and how important they are to her, she held hands with almost all of them at various conventions.
• Yuzu revealed that her next outfit for 2.0 will be slumber party themed, and that she would also like to have a model with a "Doomer" Dark hair toggle.
• During the second part of the room reviews, Yuzu noticed how many of the lampchamps are into Tanks and Planes, she is suspicious that there is secret society of vehicle enjoyers that may or may not play tank games.
• Yuzu has an amazing singing voice, she demonstrated this by being the second voice for the song "Dumpster Cat" by Akuma Nihmune, where both of their tunes complemented each other's.
• Yuzu thinks her house may be haunted after hearing weird noises since she moved in, the lampchamps have a running gag about her ghost wanting to do a collab with her.
• Yuzu is really prone to laughter, she can be seen laughing at the most mundane things or by simply making funny accents or looking at one of her friends, some lampchamps think her humor is broken but most can't help but laugh along.
• Yuzu has really bizarre stories, most of them involve her doing something crazy or being part of an unbelievable situation, from breaking bottles for fun to being hurt in almost comedic fashion.
• Yuzu is knowledgeable about Hawaiian history due to taking various classes on the topic, some lampchamps consider this the most random fact about her
• During gameplay streams, she has the habit of calling every gun a "glock" that she stores in her "rari" with "17 shots no 38", this being a reference to the song "679" by fetty wap, the lampchamps are really confused.
• Yuzu likes Fantasy Role playing games the most, for titles she likes she often plays for extended sessions of up to 17hrs both on and off stream, chat likes to pretend to be sad because she didn't let them see the action.
• Yuzu's biggest fears are toilet snakes and haunted sharp objects.
• One of her favorite shows is SpongeBob SquarePants, she owns a physical painting of Squidward and decent percentage of her humor being references to the series, she is also able to quote a SpongeBob episode/meme for almost any funny situation.
• During one of her flights, the electric toothbrush she had packed on her bag turned on, this led to an embarrassing situation when the person next to her mistook the sound of the brush for a "different" kind of device.
• Yuzu assures chat shes "forever 21", shes specially qualified because of all the years of experience she's had at being 21 :)
• Ginkgo Mermoth Yuzu apparently has heart shaped nipples, according to her model artist Dyarikku.

I am a moth spirit who escaped from being farmed for silk. Once held in a cell for a very long time, I finally escaped and hid in the spirit realm for over a hundred years. I began to grow curious of humans again, hoping that I could live peacefully without being hunted. In order to fulfill this goal, I took up streaming to see how humans would like me.
