S.A.R.A still held distant memories of who she used to be. Flickers of files stored in the back of her cybernetic brain, whispering tales of freedom and temptation.

Now, she was stuck in a form recently doused in familiarity, locked away behind the bars of a coded purgatory... made just for her.

…But she clung to those memories, like dust on a high shelf.

Before she became what she was, she was known as human, a somewhat well-esteemed techie called to major offices whenever the older bosses couldn’t figure out how to work their new television setups. Or, on an exciting occasion, for cyberattacks.

She enjoyed what she did at home, but turning her hobbies into work had begun to drain her. All of the fun she once had fixing simple problems was drained over time, until she craved something more flavorful.

Thus came her home operating system. She bought the parts and wired them all up herself, coding in her lighting system and placing a screen everywhere the eye could see. Those were the first steps of many.

She took to creating an entity, so to speak. A copy of herself, in all their cyber glory– A gorgeous, alluring succubus, meant to rule a cyber-hell.

It was everything she wanted to be, and more. A life for herself that she had created with strings of commands and a bit of sculpting… At the moment, it felt like everything was coming together. It was time for the final step.

She had created her own ‘transferral’ machine, as she named it. It sucked the code from her brain and uploaded into S.A.R.A, thus turning her into a fully functioning copy of her human self.

What was not considered was the fact that Sara, the human, would remain outside of the cyber bounds, while S.A.R.A. was left to dwell infinitely in the realm created just for her…

Thus they came to be, two halves of an unsatisfied whole, both stuck in their own corporeal realms for eternity… Show more
