Tio is a mako shark from an alternate universe where humans have mutated sharks to hybrids and quickly fell prey to them, resulting in the extinction of humanity. Tio accidentally found a bridge connected to our universe and enjoys traveling between the two universes, so far as having made a home away from home on our side due to their frequent visits. They enjoy the company of humans and seem regretful with how things turned out in their true home.
