Waffobean presents herself as shy and soft-spoken, with expressive reactions and exaggerated visual gags in her content. Her educational videos commonly take an analytical approach to creator growth, VTuber debuts and the design, cost and production of VTuber models.

Waffobean is a patchwork demon with long, layered black hair that fades into purple. She has pointed ears, dark horns, small purple bat-like wings and a large patchwork tail. Her eyes are asymmetrical, with one bright pink eye and one predominantly dark eye. Bandages, stitched patches, crosses and heart motifs recur throughout her design.

Her primary outfit uses a black and purple palette. It includes an off-shoulder top with crossing straps, detached oversized sleeves, a short patchwork skirt, striped thigh-high stockings and dark footwear. Several parts of the outfit are decorated with visible seams, patches and mismatched fabric panels.
