Ares Nanos

Ares has 3 forms. One form is as a small, yellow dinosaur plush with blue spikes along her head and down to her tail, pink claws, and iridescent eyes. Her opalized tooth can be seen around her neck.

Her human form is a woman with pointed ears and messy blonde hair, with a blue spike in the middle of her forehead like a horn. She is dressed in a one piece, with a half tabard and tattered skirt. Her appearance is adorned with bones, and a Nanotyrannus skull sits on her shoulder. Her legs and tail are that of a dinosaur.

Her demon form is a humanoid demon with light blonde hair with large twin drills, plum colored horns and wings, what can best be described as a short stole around her neck and breasts, a corset, and small arm sleeves.

These are the most predominant and "canonical" forms, though depending on what's being streamed she will make her own art to match with the game or event taking place.

On 21 November 2023, VTuber agency ZenithVE posted a cryptic announcement of an upcoming project. On 30 November, they announced applications for their first generation, PolyPlush. Applications were open until 31 December. Successful audition members were contacted on 4 January 2024.

Ares Nanos' Twitter account was created in January 2024, and her YouTube account was opened on 14 March 2024. These were announced by ZenithVE on 26 March, alongside new members Laika Cream, Liliana Underwood and Victor Bunsly.

Ares' debut stream took place on 12 April 2024 at 8PM CST. She was the last of her generation to debut.

• Her fans are known as Ambuds.
• Ambuds is short for Amber Buddies.
• They are depicted as spectral dinosaurs that take on their preferred dinosaur's appearance, while always maintaining their signature skull head. They are made of an unknown mineral, with a 'comet tail' that flows from the head itself. It warps like a galaxy, but seems to have air bubbles almost like amber. They can be touched, but are only semi-tangible.
• They are mischievous, and dwell around lightly-buried dinosaur bones. They make excited clicking noises when approached.

• She was born as a dinosaur 66 million years ago, but was killed in an asteroid strike on Earth. Some decades ago, she was returned to life when a fossil of her opalized tooth was placed inside a plush toy.
• After her original creator eventually passed away from old age, Ares was left in a cardboard box in the woods and sent on an adventure, where she met Laika Cream Furretti and Victor Bunsly.
• Her species is a plush . Modern archeologists debate whether the species is real or just a baby Tyrannosaurus Rex, to which she replied "I think it's inappropriate to talk about me like I'm not here, first of all."

• Ares is a fan of dinosaurs. She happened to be in the process of drawing dinosaurs every day for a month when initially chosen as a member of ZenithVE.
• Her favourite fruit is mango.
• She likes sweet things, good music, lore deep dives, video essays, cool weather, water, collecting things, mini things, travel, nature, silly videos, horror, mechs, monsters, naps, reading, memes, and you!
• She likes meat. She dreams about eating the meat in Monster Hunter.
• Her favourite games are Pokémon, Digimon, the Legend of Zelda series, Soulsbornes, Shadow of the Colossus, Final Fantasy XIV, and Rimworld. She likes Nintendo 64 and GameCube era games, horror games, MMOs and multiplayer games.
• Her favourite shows are Promised Neverland (for which she denies the existence of a season 2), Higurashi: When They Cry, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Digimon, Zoids, Zombie Land Saga, Death Parade, Bluey, Smiling Friends, Scream, Cabin in the Woods, and funny bad movies.
• Her favourite music includes One OK Rock, The Dear Hunter, Cosmo Sheldrake, Sleeping At Last, Set It Off, IAMX, Old Fob & Panic! At The Disco, My Chemical Romance, Vocaloid music, Aimer, Hiroyuki Sawano, and Takeshi Saito. She appreciates high quality rips.
• She dislikes big crowds, too much noise, vegetables, too much spice, hot weather, clothes, dishonesty, edgelords, cringe, gross humour, eye contact, sticky things, being hungry, being unproductive, being sleepy, when her apron gets caught on the handle of a drwer, and real-world scary stuff.
• Her numerous goals are to get a VGen account and start taking commissions, improve her anime style art, release her first cover song, do art for a music video, become a VTuber mama, collab with as many mutuals as possible, voice act, take part in a convention, do something for charity, do more lore videos, release an original song, become a marketable plushie, host watchalong nights with the Ambuds, start doing fanart, make friends, finish games, land an energy drink deal, and hold a subathon.
