On 7 January 2024, following the announcement of Phase-Connect's new Japanese branch Phase-Connect JP, Phase-Connect announced their first five member of Phase KALEiDO.

Ayase Yuu's YouTube and Twitter accounts were originally created on 7 January, although they contained no content at this point.

The first generation of Phase-Connect JP, Phase KALEiDO, was first teased on the Phase-Connect JP Twitter account from 14 to 18 January 2024. This was followed by a teaser video on 20 January.
