Ayla Yew

Ayla is known for her tenacity and her positive energy in her streams. She has an easygoing personality that lets her get along well with viewers and other VTubers alike, and isn't shy about showing her appreciation for her many friends in the VTuber community. Ayla enjoys sharing about herself and her life, and has a playful side, often inserting silly little sound effects into her anecdotes.

Her tenacity and optimism in the face of hardship are exemplified by her original song, "Believer." When interviewed about the meaning behind her song, Ayla discussed her struggles with social anxiety, with the song expressing her desire to overcome her fear of how others perceive her and her gratitude towards the community that has supported her.

Although she tends to be level-headed most of the time, Ayla also has some more unrestrained and "gremlin-like" tendencies. Her extreme love of Coca-Cola is infamous among her community, and she can be seen online at very late times in her timezone. She can also become immersed in games to the point where some of her gaming streams have turned into impromptu marathon streams.

Ayla has long white hair with several pink and turquoise streaks. She has multicolored eyes, pink at the top and fading to turquoise at the bottom. She has a large pink ribbon on the back of her hair and three smaller ribbons on one lock of her hair. She also has synthetic foxlike ears and a tail, which can be removed.

Her outfit consists of a white skirt and a sleeveless top and a single blue legging, with an additional piece of blue and white clothing circling her neck and covering her upper body. She also wears a white jacket with oversized sleeves off-shoulder; it can be removed.

Ayla Yew's Twitter account was created in September 2022 and her YouTube channel was created on 21 December 2022.

On 1 November 2022, NexStage Project announced their first VTuber group, CodeX.

On 30 December 2022, NexStage Project announced the reveal of Ayla Yew and uploaded a video revealing her design as "A Beast Tamer VTuber."

• Ayla's mascot is Kevin, a small white foxlike creature with bright pink patterns on its ears, similar to Ayla's own synthetic ears, as well as star-shaped markings on its forehead and upper body and swirl markings on its tail.
• Ayla's fans are known as Kevkin.
• Kevkin are depicted as the species to which Kevin belongs, but the markings on their ears, body, and tail may be a variety of colors.

• Ayla likes her mascot Kevin, Coca-Cola, ice cream, French fries, her family, and idol groups.
• Ayla dislikes spicy food, the horror genre, and bugs.

• Ayla is experienced at 3D modeling and has a bachelor's and master's degree in art and animation. She is most familiar with, although due to its cost she no longer owns the software.
• Ayla was observed in a handcam stream to have noticeably elbows. The "7o" emoticon (a reversed "saluting" emoticon) has become a running joke among her community in reference to this.
• Ayla Yew and Furi Ferntail revealed they, with two more people "supposed to come after", were supposed to join PixelLink as a generation of adopted VTubers, PixelRevival. This generation never happened because of the agency's shutdown.

Raised by beasts, Ayla has found herself a bit of a klutz and oblivious to the world. Although she has lots of learn about how to live amongst people, Ayla can't help having her blood turn hot with excitement when learning about everyone and what makes them the happiest! With her companion Kevin whispering tips and tricks to continue adding her own colors to the world and create harmony with society. Song, art, dance, and even silly little noises are all languages society knows no matter what our stories are, or what languages we speak. Luckily for Ayla, these are her favorite ways to connect with everyone!
