DoodleDood is a cartoon character that exists in a universe of stories called the Creative Space, of which parallels our own material universe, where you and I and everyone else exists. Stories from our universe manifest in the creative space, each story having its own "panel", think planet in a solar system, and each panel is essentially a pocket dimension - finite space on the outside, all the space it needs on the inside.

Doodle is a character that exists outside of the stories, like many characters that don't have a story they originate from and live in, rather he, as well as many others, work for a group called the Creative Space Authority (CSA). This group monitors and ensures stories stay on track with how they are supposed to, so that they can reach their intended ending, and stay relevant during the process. Doodle works for a division that goes in and removes any "anomalies", this being anything that shouldn't be in the story to begin with that may throw it off course, help smooth out any retcons, and the like.

Mainly, however, Doodle works with High Profiles, story characters that have heavy presences in the Material Universe, such as celebrities, online personas, etc etc. His area is in the Streamer Spaces, specifically the Twitch side of it (This is how I canonize any streamer friends I make into the lore). There, he just needs to ensure they don't enter stories they shouldn't be in and throw them off, and to ensure they themselves don't get thrown off, lest they, or any story, falls into Obscurity (Both the social collective of forgotten things, but also a literal place at the bottom of the Creative Space).

Doodle streaming is a part of an initiative they call Project Spotlight, an attempt to catch the attention of any "anomalies" that may be within the Streamer Spaces. Their intent is to help them grow and evolve beyond what they are, and for the better, hence their motto: "Follow The Spotlight and Become More"
