True to her persona as a Virtual Healer, she's a soft spoken girl with comforting voice. However, when she starts playing Apex, she goes into wild mode and will sometimes make a battlecry (without altering her soft and comforting voice), earning her the nickname "Berserk Healer".

When unable to sleep, she will sometimes do guerilla game streams such as Apex or Minecraft, or VTuber related work (such as making thumbnails) and zatsudan talk streams while drinking in midnight JST. She's very sociable as she had done a lot of collaborations with many other VTubers. She doesn't make weekly schedules, instead almost all of her livestreams are announced 2-3 days prior to streaming. Her debut goal is to reach 10,000 YouTube subscribers.

From her newest self-intro video, it's revealed that her dream is to be able to do a 3D Live show and become a singer for an Anime soundtrack.

Before being rebranding herself as VTuber, Kanduki Ama has started her virtual persona since 2012 at Nico Nico Douga as a Streamer and Utaite with same name. This is revealed on her 1st year anniversary stream, when she's doing a looking back to the past stream. Her past song covers can be found at her sub-channel.

Around 2017, Ama began streaming on YouTube, doing music covers and gaming streams, mostly PUBG. She streamed using a static image model. On November 2018, she started using a 3D model from the REALITY app.

• She's often accompanied by a strange creature called "Inukurage" which is a portmanteau fusing the Japanese words for dog (犬) and jellyfish (くらげ).
• Her fan name is Amatou (あま党 lit. Ama's Party). This is a pun on the Japanese word for sweets lover/sweet tooth (甘党). This later became the title of her second original song.
• Her stream greeting is "Ohalo" (おハロー). At the end of stream, the farewell greeting is "Otsuama" (おつあま).

• "Masaru Dottoko's JP daughters" - Ama, Umitsuki Shell, Sugiyama Curumi, Tokiha Coyoi, Hinata Tama, Angel Lolicol, Sasano Chacha, and Lilie. They released a birthday song to celebrate their illustrator mama's birthday.
• "Masaru Family" (まさる家, masaru-ke), - Ama, Umitsuki Shell, Sugiyama Curumi, Hinata Tama, Evelyn Banfield, Nekoyashiki Tomosuke, and Dokozono Kai. Also includes Masaru's "sons". This particular incarnation of the group has done game collaborations such as Minecraft.
