Laimu is very chill with a welcoming and friendly community. She is mostly happy and bubbly but also has a lewd and cheeky side which will often crop up when there is the opportunity to make an innuendo or pun. Also she will never miss an opportunity to do something funny, mostly trolling friends in videogames.
Appearance
Laimu is a ferret girl with light green hair and darker green bangs. Her hair is usually kept in a braided ponytail on the viewer's left, but it can change length and has a range of styles such as short, long, twintails, and a ponytail. She has a pair of ferret ears, lime green eyes with matching eyeshadow, tiny fangs, a tail, and an ahoge. Her main outfit consists of a pleated dress and a hoodie, both of which feature pastel shades of white, pink, and green. She wears a thin black choker, a necklace with a lime slice, sneakers, and asymmetrical socks: the left sock has yellow and green stripes, while the right sock is shaped like a ferret. She has pink toenails and her fingernails are painted lime green, except for her middle digits, which are both pink. She often wears pink glasses with round lenses and headphones around her neck.
Background
Laimu began streaming in 2011 as a member of the streaming collective, Vinesauce. During this period, she was commonly referred to as Limes and was personified as a baby seal with a slice of lime balanced on her forehead.
She made her VTuber debut as Laimu on 2 September 2021.

On 22 July, she had a re-debut and revealed her new Live2D model, which is commonly referred to as Laimu 2.0. She also introduced her mascot Limón, a white and green ferret with large pink eyes, leaves in his ears, and a pink bow around his neck.
2024
On 23 April, she celebrated her birthday by revealing a Cozy outfit for the Laimu 2.0 model, which consists of a baggy T-shirt with ferrets on it, an oversized sweater, overalls, and a garter.
On December 1, she debuted her Winter outfit, which consists of a hat, a scarf, a sweater, a winter coat with decorative wings, a tartan miniskirt, pink stockings, and white boots. Both outfits were designed by Yenko and rigged by cillia.
2025
On 28 February, Laimu unveiled a Nargacuga-inspired Huntress outfit to celebrate the release of Monster Hunter Wilds.
On 21 May, Laimu announced that she had joined Mythic Talent and stayed with them for a year.
On 3 July, Laimu used a new 3D model in Dokibird's birthday concert at Anime Expo, singing "Escape from the City" with Dokibird, Snuffy, and Mint Fantôme.
On 23 August, Laimu debuted her summer outfit.
On 14 October, Laimu revealed a Halloween-themed recolour of her main outfit. This recolor replaces the pastel green and pink shades with an orange and black palette, and adds a red stain to her dress.
On 31 December, the Sloppy Sisters revealed matching 3D semichibi models while doing a New Year's Countdown in the Dokilond VRChat world. The 3D models were created by Arunorudo Rui based on Katasumi's illustrations. Rika Mardjaja did the VRChat setup for the models.
2026
On 28 February, Laimu unveiled a zombie recolor of her main outfit to mark the release of Resident Evil Requiem. This recolor desaturates her appearance, covers her with blood splatters, adds minor tearing to her clothing, and makes her eyes cloudy.
On 16 April, Laimu revealed a new rubberhose-themed model designed by Honeybvg, coinciding with the release of MOUSE: P.I. For Hire. Inspired by cartoons from the late 1920s and early 1930s, this cartoony black-and-white version of Laimu is dressed in a flapper dress with a headband and wears Limón around her neck.
On 2 May, Fantastic Reality announced that Laimu and rest of the Sloppy Sisters will perform as a quartet at the Doki Doki: Rewind Time concert on July 4th at The Vermont Hollywood.
On 7 May, Laimu announced that she was joining the talent agency.
