Sara has a very relaxed and calm personality. She doesn't get frustrated when playing video games, even very hard ones.

Sara has purple eyes and long, flowing pinkish red twintails. Her hair has vivid purple highlights, which she has stated are a nod to the hair color of one of her inspirations, fellow retro VTuber Voxandra. She also has a heart-shaped ahoge at the top of her head and a couple of antenna ahoge closer to the front. The shape of her twintails creates a heart shape behind her. She has a pair of cat ears with white ear fluff and a shorthaired cat tail.

She wears a magical girl inspired outfit with star emblems, consisting of a black and red frilled blouse with a pink cover, black and red sleeves that expose her arms, and a plaid red and frilled black skirt with a star pattern visible in the black section. She also has a plaid red ribbon on her neck topped with her star emblem, and a red ribbon on her tail with a circular medal of her star emblem. She has pink ribbons running down her legs, and does not wear shoes.

Her original 3D model had thinner twintails and wine red hair, wearing a purple sweater with disconnected purple sleeves and a purple plaid skirt.

Sara originally streamed on Mogulus (later known as Livestream) since around the platform's launch, circa 2007. She created a Twitch channel on 31 December 2010, with her first known stream on that platform taking place on 22 December 2017.

She streamed on 99 days between then and mid-2021, including a number of charity streams, most notably a Sonic Month charity marathon in March 2020, which raised money for the charity Extra Life.

Her exact background is unknown, but she frequently refers to herself as "Saralene the Magical Catgirl." It can be inferred from this that she is some form of magical girl. She seems to be a video game developer by day and a magical girl fighting the forces of evil by night.

Her current arch-nemesis is the Great Emperor of Dogs, who has often trapped her at the top of trees outside of her house with his vicious empire of evil dogs. The Great Emperor of Dogs is a scoundrel with a captain's hat and a huge scimitar who hates Pop'n Music and believes the best music game ever made is Spice World for PS1.
