Eris (the character of the design) was born on a planet of a cyberpunk human civilization. She thought herself stuck there until she met EMA by chance, a sentient A.I. android that escaped it's oppressive creators. The two quickly formed a bond but EMA's body was detroiating, so Eris allowed EMA to integrate the chip that it operates on in Eris's brain. It now powers a HUD in Eris's eyes and assists her desires, beginning with the modification of her boots for her dream of space travel. She now explores space while documenting her and EMA's discoveries and activites through her public blog: the Eris Observable Compendium.
