The Two Blooming Souls of the Twilight Elf

In the ancient forests where moonlight drips through silver leaves and flowers bloom even in the coldest night, there lives an elf known as the Blossom of Twilight.

Most who meet her remember the same thing first...her laughter.

She walks through groves leaving petals in her wake, braiding flowers into her long hair and humming old woodland songs that even the wind seems to follow. Animals gather around her without fear. The forest grows brighter where she steps. To travelers she is gentle, cheerful, and warm, like the first days of spring after a long winter.

Many believe she is simply a spirit of blooming life, an elf blessed by nature itself.

But the forest remembers more than people do.

Long before she became the joyful maiden wandering the blossom paths, she was chosen by the ancient trees to guard the Veil Between Roots. A hidden boundary where light and shadow intertwine beneath the earth. Few elves could withstand the whispers that lived there.

She could.

Or so they believed.

During a forgotten night when the moon vanished behind a blood eclipse, something beneath the forest stirred. A living darkness seeped through the roots, ancient and patient. It did not attack. It did not destroy.

It spoke.

And she listened.

From that night forward, two spirits lived within her. Spring's Moonlight and Forest's Shadow
