Akesato Channel’s Japanese content carries a lot of mythic flavor, from the “Akesato” reading of 緋惺 to the red-and-blue eye motif tied to celestial creatures in Miyazawa Kenji’s works. The channel also says its fan name, Hitosede-san, comes from the red star-shaped sea stars, and that streaming began from the bottom of the Seto Inland Sea while trying to rebuild a shrine.
