However, this answer was Ame playing safe as she was pretty new in hololive and didn't want the fans creating lore that doesn't involve her coworkers.

2020
Uto made her VTuber debut on 15 December. Her channel subsequently grew rapidly, drawing substantial interest from an English-speaking audience.
On 21 December, she reached the 100k subscriber milestone on YouTube. On Christmas day, by Japan time, she reached 200,000 subscribers.
During her New Year's stream on 31 December, Uto broke her previous viewer record, reaching over 12,000 viewers.
2021
Uto's YouTube channel continued to grow in 2021, reaching 300,000 subscribers on 5 January.
After 9 January, Uto ceased streaming for several weeks. On 17 February, she revealed the reason as trouble with an unnamed agency, including meta-tagging streams with the names of unrelated VTubers and pursuing contracts without her consent. Uto announced her intent to return as an independent VTuber. The same day, she uploaded a song cover of KING by Kanaria to YouTube. She returned to streaming on 20 February.
On 3 March, she reached 400,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
On 12 June, she announced on her Twitter account that she would receive her second 2D costume. Two days later, Uto debuted two versions of her costume during a stream. The first version features a white dress and coat, long hair extending past her knees, and bandages and straps across her legs and waist. The second version, referred to as "Nyamatsuka", features pigtails, fingerless gloves, cat ears, a cat tail, a rifle resembling an AR-15 or M4 Carbine with a blue finish, and a rifle case slung behind her back.
On 10 October, Uto announced on Twitter that she would receive her 3D model on 14 October, also her birthday celebration. Said stream was an hour-long performance that would conclude with the announcement of her first album, Utopia, that was being produced by Pony Canyon.
On 6 December, Uto reached 600,000 subscribers on her YouTube channel.
2022
From March to July of 2022, Uto had taken an extended hiatus. Though she did not explain much about the cause of it, she did mention that she was taking a voice acting role. When she came back in July, she expressed her interest in focusing more on her Twitch account.
On 2 August, Sekashiba anime's Twitter account announced that Uto would have a speaking role in the anime adaptation of Sekai no Owari ni Shiba Inu to as guest in episode 46.
2023
On 6 April, Uto made a tweet announcing that she would be indefinitely suspending her activities on 30 April. Much of her content would be set to private, with memberships ending on that same day. She would later make a statement that this was not a retirement, but more of an indefinite hiatus in order to focus on personal affairs.
On 10 December, during a surprise YouTube stream, Uto announced her return to VTubing as part of the VOICE-ORE agency.
2024
On 16 March, Uto debuted her third 2D costume.
On 30 June, VOICE-ORE disbanded. Uto kept the rights to her IP and she returned to being an unaffiliated independent VTuber.
2025
On 30 July, Uto made a tweet stating that her Google account linked to her YouTube channel got hacked. Her YouTube channel was then taken over by someone who started streaming cryptocurrency scam content from it. The following day, her channel got deleted as a result of the hijacking. In the meantime, she is trying to get her channel back.
On 5 August, she recovered her Google account and her YouTube channel was restored.
Kirafuwa
On 22 December, she announced that she would be active on Twitch under the name "Kirafuwa" in her free time. Uto will remain on YouTube, but she has no plans and does not feel confident about returning to Uto in the near future. The Twitch account "utonyan" was renamed "kirafuwa_".
2026
On 2 April, Uto made her first YouTube stream since 2024 and announced that she has joined the streamer division of the Japanese eSports organization DetonatioN FocusMe (DFM) as their first female member.
On 4 April, the Twitch account "kirafuwa_" was re-named "utonyan_".
