Following the popularity of their "Official NIJISANJI Virtual Livers," Ichikara Inc. opened a second set of auditions on 22 February 2018 with nine available designs. On 15 March, Ichikara Inc. formally revealed NIJISANJI's second generation of Virtual Livers, including a tenth member, Morinaka Kazaki, whose design had not been publicly shown in the auditions.
Kazaki uploaded her first YouTube video on 17 March.
